UGA baseball junior in-fielder Cole Tate discusses his performance at the plate in the Bulldogs 16-2 win over UMASS on Saturday afternoon at Foley Field in Athens, GA.
Tate went four-for-six at the plate with two runs and four RBIs in game two of the three-game weekend series with the Minutemen. Two of Tate’s RBIs came off a home run in the bottom of the second inning and he talks about that moment in the game.
“I was getting ready for a fastball,” said Tate. “And I got one up in the zone and was able to put a good swing on it.”
