Just got back from being out with family and signed on. Disappointed in DRob result but not totally surprised. Is there a link to a video of the announcement? I’m just curious to see it and reactions. Bet there was a lot of people feeling let down after showing up with kids and such… Wonder how many blue and gold shirts were in audience? From photos I saw there were tons of kids there in red tees

Bansai buckeroo It just seemed like he was always intrigued by the California lifestyle and academics in Cali. Good for the young man in following his dream as it takes a lot of guts to take his path in life rather than making an easy choice because it was the most comfortable (i.e., being close to family and friends, etc.).
Hobnailboot aka RobG Jay212033 No, once DRob signed the FA paperwork, coaches had unlimited contact with him and could openly discuss their contact with him in the recruiting process. I believe that CKS is well-versed on the recruiting rules “dos and don’ts”
@Brooklyndawg…. Logically Georgia made the most sense. But I guess you can throw logic out the window when it comes to 18 year old kids…. Anyway I’m just glad this soap opera is over.

MMCSDAWG funny thing is if he settles in Georgia after college there would have been more open doors to him as he starts out in life. Not implying he will not be a success but getting started would have been so much easier. IMO

Well the drob saga has finally come to an end! Good luck to him and hope he is able to achieve his goals at Cal. Our receiving Corp looks good and we will survive without him. Go DAWGS!
