Greg Poole That is billboard material for SURE!  Let’s just see how this whole UTk team reacts to being the hunted this season…  I have a willingness to Yolo again… lol!  If we could I would bet the farm that UTk does NOT win the SEC and/or the SECe for that matter.  Let’s see how those bricks hold up under pressure this year!  I can’t wait to beat the hell out of them!

  2. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole BOTH!  LSU is predicted to be atop the SEC this year and anything less than a visit to Atlanta would be all she wrote for Les.  Another 5-6 loss season for Gus and he is gone!

I posted this to the Big 12 expansion page on Facebook. Don’t know if they will appreciate the humor:

Looks like the Steelers are cutting bait on Jarvis Jones. Guy’s game just couldn’t translate in the league, which is odd because he was about as dominant a college player as we’ve seen.

Dawgnation4 When he gets some film posted let us know. We will be happy to run it.

Just FYI, We are going to start up the recruiting chat again on a more regular basis after Lucas gets done with finals; so, in about another week or two.

We also have plans to do recruiting podcasts this summer with prospects as guests. They will be shorter than the BD Illustrated On-Air and Breaking the Huddle ones, but should be really fun and good stuff.

Greg Poole Dawgnation4 He has about 6 or 7 lined up so far and I am pushing to get him in a lot more. He is getting a ton of exposure with his 7-on7 right now. They played in Atlanta a couple weekends ago, and finish the year up at the national tourney at IMG. But I pushing him on the camps hard

Dawgnation4 Bulldawg Bob2 Greg Poole  7-on-7 is better than none at all though. Part of the recruiting process now-a-days with social media is just getting your name out there for the recruiting services and coaches to see.

If he has a pic in his football uniform, send it to me, and I’ll do him an edit.

Dawgnation4  It is that all of the major camps (even the regional ones) put on by the big services like Rivals are by invite only, according to the reply I got from Rivals.

What it boils down to is going to the pay camps and performing well to get ranked by the services in order to get ranked and later invited to the bigger camps.

He should be working toward next year by attending some pay camps this summer.

Bulldawg Bob2 Dawgnation4 Greg Poole And I know 7-on-7 highlights arent what coaches want to see but, at least it gives them something to see.

  11. Dawgnation4

Bulldawg Bob2 Dawgnation4 Greg Poole His school throws the ball like 3 times a game, so he is making some highlights now of his 7-on-7 play to go along with it since he doesn’t get much exposure in HS. I have tried to get him to transfer schools, but he just wont do it…

  12. Bulldawg Bob2

Dawgnation4  Some of the camps are pay and go like Greg Poole and some are by invite. The other thing that will help is if he has any highlights he can put up on Hudl if his school or coach has an account.

Bulldawg36  I wouldn’t say needed, but he could have been a very nice addition to the 2016 signing class for Georgia and could have definitely contributed to the team

Wanted to post this up closer to the top, but this is in answer to Score Check’s question about who the next commitment could be for Georgia.

I expect a 2 or 3 in the latter part of May after the kids are done with finals. Who? 2017 DE – Malik Herring has been on commit watch and could very well be a silent commit, but there are a number of prospects that recently put UGA at the top of their list or in their top 3 like 2017 WRs Jeremiah Holloman and Mark Webb along with 2017 athletes Keldrick Carper and Jacoby Stevens.

Also, keep your eye on 2017 RB D’Andre Swift.

2017 OL – D’Antne Demery might be a silent and I have had him on commit watch as well. Same goes for Nate McBride.

Georgia is currently sitting at 9 commitments for 2017, and I expect them to go into June with 11 to 12 .

Greg Poole I was in the stands.  Surely that is worth a free lunch or something.

Greg Poole I was surprised they didn’t lock down the naming rights to the stadium.  Either them, Delta or Home Depot seemed more natural than the German car maker.

dawgmum Greg Poole Like the way we’re thinking here!  And from a per capita  basis it is true!  lol

  18. Greg Poole

dawgmum California, Texas and Florida each have more than twice Georgia’s population

  19. dawgmum

Greg Poole Of course, Texas is about three times the size of Georgia, so technically it’s a wash. ##

AMB Sports & Entertainment has signed Coca-Cola to a 10-year deal as a founding partner of Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the new home of the Falcons and Atlanta United opening in June ’17. Financial terms were not disclosed, but founding partnerships are typically valued at seven figures annually. The deal extends to Coca-Cola serving as the exclusive non-alcoholic beverage supplier of the teams and the $1.5B facility. Coca-Cola, which is based in Atlanta, has served its products at Falcons games since the team’s inception in ’66.
The soft drink brand joins Equifax, The Home Depot, NCR, Novelis, SunTrust, IBM and American Family Insurance as stadium founding partners.http://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/Daily/Morning-Buzz/2016/05/03/Coke.aspx
