AlphaDawg MMCSDAWG Yeah, I would hold one camp in Toledo just to get into the Mich/ohio area, but if this thing lasted more than a year or two, I would definitely move to Texas!

  2. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole MMCSDAWG I like those…  definitely So Cal, and S. Florida.  Either Cincy or maybe Toledo,  Toledo is right on the Mich/ohio border and we could pull Kids from Cleveland and Detroit areas!!   The Va. Beach/Tidewater area is a good one too!

  3. Greg Poole

MMCSDAWG  I’d go to Ohio just to annoy them – Cincy area maybe? Tidewater VA, South FL and SoCal

Will Muschamp’s South Carolina is http://s.sbnation.com/click/6449134.206/aHR0cDovL3d3dy5nYXJuZXRhbmRibGFja2F0dGFjay5jb20vMjAxNi80LzUvMTEzNjg5NDAvc291dGgtY2Fyb2xpbmEtZ2FtZWNvY2tzLWZvb3RiYWxsLXJlY3J1aXRpbmctYS13ZXN0LWNvYXN0LW9mZmVyLWFuZC1tb3Jl/56c35a748cc2b2c31d8b4576B092a32ac with its recruiting. I may write about this more at some point, but this is a high-variance strategy. If the Gamecocks have a good year, they may pull more studs than expected. But if they disappoint, South Carolina may have to scramble to establish better relationships with lesser prospects who will actually consider signing with them.

They were still biting good Sunday I caught a 6 pounder. The guy that went with me lost a monster, it was at least 9 and got him wrapped up in some shallow stumps, he kept trying to horse him and he came up and jumped twice and broke him off before I could get over to it and net him. Had a few 3-4 pounders as well

  6. MMCSDAWG

So…  Based on Kirby’s comments yesterday about satellite camps…  List the 4 locations you would pick to set up a UGA satellite camp.

  7. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole We have got to fix this…  I am hoping our WR corp will show GREAT improvement this season under Chaney and Coley’s control!!

AlphaDawg Greg Poole Get good or get gone. As coach said, all these guys have ability. It’s the fire in the belly, aka competitiveness that separates the wheat from chaf.

AlphaDawg Greg Poole Sometimes players are a little sluggish at practice…it happens. It’s amazing how it only takes a couple of players with “sluggish body” language to rub off on others. Within 20 minutes the whole practice starts to look like no one cares or whats to be there. The same group will show up at the next practice busting their butts and looking like they want to win a championship. It’s just part of coaching. I gave up trying to figure it out. For all I know it’s directly related to the phases of the moon. The reality is it’s probably closer to stuff like class work, sleep patterns, weather changes and other non related football issues.

BahitsDawg They are. They must be part of a study since there is nothing out there to use the power generated.

  11. Greg Poole

BahitsDawg Hard to say w/o seeing them, but they are needed. As the season wears on there will be injuries and there will be opportunity for PT.

  12. MMCSDAWG

BahitsDawg Greg Poole Don’t forget D. Marshall is coming in as well, There is something about him that CKS likes.  He sure recruited him HARD!

  13. Greg Poole

AlphaDawg That’s just football practice. He is using collective punishment to accomplish several goals. Motivating to young and lazy, but also developing leadership by getting the older players to get on the younger one.

  14. MMCSDAWG

Red Dawn Not sure I would really like to see this as a norm…  I think I personally would rather see Wray and other recruits come in for summer camps at UGA, get some one on one time with Pittman.  Take the lessons Pittman and company are teaching them and work on their craft at the HS level where they can perfect those skills and techniques against even or lessor level competition.  A kid that is only 16 possibly 17 isn’t really gonna benefit from being out matched every single play or drill by a 20-22 yr old SEC caliber player.    I can partially understand with a QB maybe, but for every other position group, I really don’t see this type of thing as a good move for the kid or the school.

  15. AlphaDawg

Red Dawn Saw that. Was really confused when he started getting picks to UGA. He’s related to Muschamp for crying out loud and they have no QB on roster worth a flip.  Smart move by him

  16. MMCSDAWG

BahitsDawg Greg Poole I believe M. Carter and T. Clark will challenge for some playing time.  They might not get in early in the season, but by mid season, I believe especially Carter will be in the rotation.  Carter was huge for me, I think he is going to be a great one in Athens!

  17. AlphaDawg

MMCSDAWG AlphaDawg The weight rack looks so small compared to him it looks like one of those old cheap sets with plastic covered weights HAHA

  18. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole Michail Carter and Tyler Clark are going to need to come in hungry and ready.

Do you think they will see action this season?  Rochester will definitely be pressed into service.

  19. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole I wasn’t as concerned about the DL before reading this http://dogbytesonline.com/another-injury-for-uga-d-line-daquan-hawkins-out-of-practice/

We are way too thin at that position.

  20. AlphaDawg

Greg Poole not to be negative Nancy but some of those boys need to stop being sluggish and start paying attention.
