Bulldawg Bob2 Jesse1 MMCSDAWG Always apply for Drive, Chip & Putt, Practice Rounds, and daily singles. You might get lucky. But ya gotta play first.

  2. MMCSDAWG

Jesse1 MMCSDAWG Bulldawg Bob2 Me too, I was at 16 when he almost holed the tee shot!!!  Crowd was amazing and like nothing I had seen before or since.

  3. Jesse1

Bulldawg Bob2 IYH_BI That is it Bob. The “Event” factor. Like Kentucky Derby, Super Bowl, Rose Bowl, Indy 500, these world class events, are just special.
I’ve never understood Augusta folks whining all year about Disgusta wanting to bail the one week we’re the center of the sporting universe.

  4. Greg Poole

Bulldawg Bob2 Everyone should go once if they have the opportunity. The place is pretty enough (including the people) that gold can be secondary.

  5. Bulldawg Bob2

IYH_BI I’ll tune in. I’m not the biggest golf fan or guy out there, but I do enjoy the Masters and the events and spectacle surrounding it.

  6. Bulldawg Bob2

Jesse1 MMCSDAWG I have yet to attend a Masters. My wife’s uncle, “Bubba”, got to go almost every year.

  7. Bulldawg Bob2

ZippyMorocco Man. Wow. Ouch. Well, hoping she heals on up quick and good this time.

  8. Greg Poole

ZippyMorocco I finally realized I was never going to be any good and quit. That’s when I lost interest in watching it.

  9. Jesse1

ZippyMorocco Greg Poole They have a few teams. Rockhurst, who would be a load for any team most years, and proves it with a national schedule, Jefferson City, Kirkwood, Hazelwood, St, Charles, solid tough teams.

  10. Greg Poole

IYH_BI I was fortunate that I lived close by and my family had Masters tickets when I was growing up. I started going at about age 12 and, at least, a couple of time each year for many years. Of course, back in the 50’s and early 60’s Masters tickets were really easy to get locally, even if you were not on the patron list.

  11. MMCSDAWG

IYH_BI Greg Poole Me too!  Not sure my body could take 36 every day anymore, but I would definitely give it a try!

  12. ZippyMorocco

IYH_BI Greg Poole I played for a long time, but had to give it up (back and knees).

  13. BahitsDawg

ZippyMorocco Greg Poole I wish we had not brought them in.  At the very least, those jokers should be in the West and either Bama or the barners should be moved to the East.

  14. ZippyMorocco

    Bulldawg Bob2 ZippyMorocco
It’s been 6 months, but they had to reopen it in February.

  15. IYH_BI

Greg Poole IYH_BI Haha – I am the complete opposite.  I’d play 36 holes a day and spend every day at Augusta from gate opening until closing watching this week if I could.

  16. MMCSDAWG

Jesse1 Bulldawg Bob2 Watched the replay of the  1986 Masters on Golf Channel yesterday when I got home!!  That is my personally most memorable Masters.  Still brings chill bumps to me now!

  17. Jesse1

AlphaDawg MMCSDAWG Maryland has about 4 or 5 Parochial schools who hoard a lot of talent. And we certainly need to plant a huge Red flag with a black G in Prince George’s County.

  18. ZippyMorocco

Greg Poole That’s because MO doesn’t have any HS talent. The big losers in this deal are UGA, UF, FSU

  19. Bulldawg Bob2

ZippyMorocco Christi asked about her the other day. She said her place took about 4 to 5 months to heal completely when she had to have that done.

  20. ZippyMorocco

    Bulldawg Bob2 ZippyMorocco
A nurse comes by every day and packs gauze in it. But, it’s slowly healing.

  21. Greg Poole

New Missouri defensive coordinator DeMontie Cross, who participated in such excursions during his time as co-defensive coordinator at TCU, is a proponent of satellite camps.
“The Big 12 allowed us to do that …,” Cross said. “My personal opinion, any time you get a chance to see other kids outside the state, it’s always a bonus. If you get a chance to do football drills or see them do football drills, it’s a lot better than just seeing them at the high school and stuff. There is some benefit to it.”

  22. Jesse1

MMCSDAWG Greg Poole Cincy all the way. Greater Catholic League has averaged 4 NFL drafts per year for nearly 60 years. Cleveland has St. Ignatius and Mentor, but thats about it. Massillon and McKinley are like Valdosta, shells of what they were.
Spot on with the Hampton Roads area. Truckload of talent. Detroit and Toledo really stink in football most years. Muskegeon, Kalamazoo- Central, Portage, Benton Harbor, have long fielded some stout teams.

  23. MMCSDAWG

Heath Holland Bulldawg Bob2 Congrats and now it’s time to get busy climbing the ladder in the “real” world!  Good luck !

  24. Bulldawg Bob2

ZippyMorocco She is doing much better. Still has some nausea she is battling with, but the doc said that will clear up in a few more days.

How is Mrs. Zippy doing. Is that place starting to heal and give her less fits?

  25. Jesse1

ZippyMorocco Greg Poole Those three along with Jeffreys and a few others. It’s rare for SC to produce that much front end talent in such a short window. That all went to Cola City should raise more questions than were at the time.

  26. Jesse1

Bulldawg Bob2 Watching Nicklaus on Golf Channel. He was talking about the 19 events he came in 2nd. And reiterated several times, “When I knew I had played my best, given all effort I could muster for that event, and lost to a guy who was just better than me that week, I didn’t like having lost, however knowing I’d tried my best, I didn’t feel it was the end of the world. As long as I had given 100%.”

  27. IYH_BI

Good early afternoon to everyone!  Who is ready to watch the Par 3 contest this afternoon?

  28. Heath Holland

Bulldawg Bob2 Heath Holland  nothing but the trees from the wind my brother! Bout a month away from graduating (hopefully)

  29. MMCSDAWG

ZippyMorocco Greg Poole Right, Definitely not the talent pool he had surrounding him at Florida and we all know how that one worked out.

  30. ZippyMorocco

    Greg Poole
He is going to have a hard time. The last great USC recruits were all local, Lattimore, Engram, and Clowney. That doesn’t happen often in SC.

  31. Bulldawg Bob2

Greg Poole MMCSDAWG How do stats “taste?” Are they sweet, bitter, mild, spicy or just very bland, lol … j/k … couldn’t resist

  32. Bulldawg Bob2

A belated good hump day morning to everyone.

So how is hump day going for all you leatherheads?

  33. AlphaDawg

Greg Poole Their current crop of QBs is not great. I see them being like UT. Will pull a few of our targets out of GA (defense, especially) but I believe Kirby will recruit GA much more effectively than Richt did. If they have a decent year, yes they could probably finish top 5 in SEC in recruiting. If they don’t it’s going to be an uphill battle for years to come given Muschamp’s previous failures. Plus, I’m starting to think Muschamp’s sideline antics are a major turn off to parents.
