I hope not- it hardly ever works. Still remember Shockley coming off the bench and throwing that pick six in the 2002 fla game! Still makes me sick till this day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bulldawg36 What if he decided to be a contrarian like DRob and decided on USCe, would we see a self-immolation?

MMCSDAWG Greg Poole Ahhhh…so sad….you’d be so ripe for an easy picking in the good old YOLO days, my low hanging fruity friend….lol

MMCSDAWG Greg Poole I am with you on that Bro. And if it isn’t him it will be Ramsey.

Greg Poole If my intuition and prediction is true, we will probably see 2 QB’s against UNC.  I suspect someone other than Eason may get the first series or two, depending on how our defense plays and the score.  But I fully expect Eason to be on the field and under center by the 3rd offensive series and depending on how that series plays out, probably the next one as well.  That should get us to half time.  If we are leading at the half, which I hope we are, then I believe Eason comes out in the second half and get the starting nod the remainder of the season.  He will have 3 games including the UNC game to get ready for Ole Miss on the road.  The Ole Miss game will be the determining factor IMO, if Eason looks shell shocked or makes too many rookie mistakes we might see a shift @ QB, but I suspect it will be his job once we leave Atlanta and we will ride the highs and lows of a Freshman the remainder of the season!

Greg Poole I watched it and he had some great things to say about Bama. Some good about Auburn and Oregon. Great things about us too, but still seems it us or Bama.

  7. Bulldawg36

It’s pretty simple most of the time the elite players wait till signing day or the all American games to commit.

Bring home the 2018 RB Zamir White!!!!!!!! Don’t let him go to Clemson or Fla!!!!!!!! The Zeus is a beast!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Reddawg13

Please tell me McBride does not leave the state. the next or even better Luke Keuchley needs to stay home and do it for the “G!”

PatriotVeteran Bulldawg36 I love that perpetually “I am going to rip your head off” look he always seems to have.

I want Mr. McBride in the Red & Black!

Greg Poole MMCSDAWG It wasn’t just UGA players getting hurt.  How many vols went down in our game with them, alone?  We lost the most valuable man on the field, but the vols had several go down.  They had a lot of bad injuries even in spring, so I wonder if their practice fields had the same problem/grounds crew.

When does Fall Camp start?  Maybe, we need another countdown for that? bulldawgbob2_BI

MMCSDAWG  I walked out on it before the game last fall and thought it looked and felt pretty good. Later it was obvious that the root system was not deep enough. Cleats ripped ups chunks and it got worse as the game went on.

Bulldawg36     Nate McBribe IMO knows if he WANTS to be a Dawg or not.    As long as he knows those who make comments will support him waiting till NSD or whenever, he will continue to seek the limelight and drag on his recruiting.   Nate, do what is right and Commit to the G now.   The Coaches want you and if you want to play for UGA, commit and help others to recruit other great 4*-5* players.       If several 4-5* players sign, other great players will follow.     Don’t make the coaches spend hours visiting other players, just in case you don’t want to play for the Dawgs.      Do what’s good for the TEAM.   COMMIT TO THE G

  15. Bulldawg36

We need Nate McBribe!!!!!!!!! He is probably a signing day commit tho.. Long way too go!!!!!!!!!

Greg Poole Time for a dedicated QA to make sure the players all have valid driver’s licenses, defensive driving classes (I would make it mandatory and for all players and staff and that they have to renew training every two years),  and have random room checks for BB guns and other illegal paraphernalia.

  17. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole Bulldawg36 It makes sense.  Unless you have a HS standout FB like Brannan Southerland, just convert a really good PWO or bruiser that didn’t make it at another position.

  18. BahitsAgain

ZippyMorocco In there defense, it is baseball.  If it were footbally, I might actually get a few if their game isn’t at the same time as UGA and whoever we play when GT plays Mark Richt.  lol

Greg Poole I like that last sentence. “Obviously it’s not a good situation. But it’s a situation we’ve addressed.” That makes it sounds kind of final. It would be a shame for him to miss the first game of the season over this.

Greg Poole Wish all kids would recognize an offer the way McKinley did. Instead of the always confusing…”Blessed to receive my 8th offer from UGA”.

  22. Greg Poole

Bulldawg36  Didn’t know you were out – he means that he doesn’t want to recruit scholarship fullbacks. Will convert other recruits or use walk-ons instead.

  23. dsw61

Greg Poole Every few years I find myself driving around with an expired license because I it never occurs to me that it has to be renewed every five years or so. Luckily an alert bank teller alerted me it had expired this last time.

Greg Poole It sounds like both Javon Wims and Brian Herrien are both saying they are fully capable of doing the work if they put their mind to it. My experience is; most kids are smart enough to get good grades in HS and college if they apply themselves. Malcolm Mitchell came into college significantly lacking in reading skills; and ended up writing a book prior to leaving college. He always had the capability to read, he just needed to apply himself. I expect Herrien to do well on the EOCs; my daughter said the first one she took…Language Arts…was a joke. “Which one of the following is an example of an incomplete sentence?” Pretty sure even I could answer that one right.

  25. Bulldawg36

What’s he mean by this? Not gonna use the fullback but only for blocking?
