Jesse1 ZippyMorocco Greg Poole He was a grader for certain.  I will always hate it for him that the injuries just piled up.  He could have been a great one but he will always be a DGD IMO.

  2. Jesse1

Greg Poole But if it upsets the Big Whatever’s mint julip in July party, carry on. Make em howl.

  3. DawgDaddy

Jesse1 Man, I had forgotten M-80s, those were the best.  As Zippy said, cherry bombs were pretty good too but the M-80 blew them away, haha.

  4. ZippyMorocco

Greg Poole Jesse1 We used to put cherry bombs in a pill bottle with a rock and drop them in a pond.

Is Kirby getting in Sabin’s head? Sounds like he’s getting defensive about A-day:
“It’s something that we’ve been special at,” Saban said, “and I think other people are trying to sort of copycat to make their game a big thing so they can say they had the most people at the spring game and all that. I think it’s important that our fans show that they have just as much interest and enthusiasm for the program as they’ve ever had.”

Greg Poole Have never bought in to the belief that toughness and competitiveness were mutually exclusive from character. Which was drilled into me as who you are when you don’t think anyone else is looking.

  7. Jesse1

Greg Poole Jesse1 The kids can have their MTV, I want my M-80’s back. And no, I wouldn’t waste em on a stranger lol. Unless stranger wears orange.

  8. Jesse1

ZippyMorocco Jesse1 Greg Poole If not for 3 count em 3 ACL tears in different years, TS would be an annual Pro Bowler.

  9. Jesse1

Greg Poole Jesse1 The reason they were banned, or so went the argument, was folks were going into high rise buildings and blowing the rear end off a throne rider 4 floors down. Urban legend? Maybe so. Maybe not 😉

  10. Jesse1

Greg Poole Showcasing that Yankee ingenuity bile I’ve had to listen too for nearly 6 decades.

  11. Jesse1

Greg Poole Remenber the old timey M-80’s we could get in South Cackalacky? What were they, 1/16 or 1/8 a stick of dynamite?

  12. Greg Poole

Jesse1 I really want to see him at G-Day. In practice, one play he looks all world and the next he honorable mention all-county. Of course, he is 17 and facing equally big boys for the first time.

  13. Jesse1

Greg Poole Were more people casually acquainted with Brother Samuelson, their station in life might, just might be improved.

  14. Jesse1

Greg Poole Maybe the most SEC ready lineman here as a true Frosh since Max Jean-Gilles, yes?
