BenKellam Bulldawg36 Of all the position groups on offense, I am not concerned about wide receiver or tight end. Georgia has talent at those positions. Just very young and unproven at WR except for Reggie Davis and Terry Godwin.

  2. Greg Poole

Bulldawg36  …and Godwin was unproven this time last year – much ado about nothing. Georgia’s problem last year was schematic and not a lack of talent.

Bulldawg36 We gotta get iMac the ball in space more and Shakenneth, Wilson, and Chigbu  need to step up.

ZippyMorocco Jesse1 Greg Poole Aye. Sturdivant was the most impressive I think I’ve seen. Too bad his knees just couldn’t hold up. Good guy too.

  5. Bulldawg36

Hope you didn’t have any damage. If it stormed here I didn’t here cuz I was dead asleep.

  6. Bulldawg36

Radii said he didn’t like our WR core on the ref but said it had a bunch of potential. It’s true…only Godwin is proven.

Heck yeah, I heard that! I try to watch all UGA sports on the tube. Wish they would televise the women’s swimming team…because they won a championship..would of been good to see. Doesn’t look like our baseball & softball teams are gonna when a championship of any kind.

  8. ZippyMorocco

Jesse1 ZippyMorocco Greg Poole I’m also behind Burt Reynolds, Ossie Davis, and Pernell Roberts.

Bulldawg36 I didn’t watch the softball game. I’ve been more interested in the baseball games because of my interest in hitting mechanics at the college level. The baseball games are hard to watch though because the pitching for the most part is not what I consider elite. Every team might have one solid pitcher, but after that it tends to fall off. Florida seems to be the exception. Based on my research, Georgia has faced two pitchers that ranked in “Baseball America’s” top 100 players.

Jesse1 MMCSDAWG Colonial Dawg Greg Poole I made the trek downtown a few times back in the day as well…  Champagne Jam was a regular event for me back in the late 70’s early 80’s.

dsw61  The best part is that works on all devices and is lightweight in terms of RAM use, but the “like/unlike” feature is nice too

MMCSDAWG Colonial Dawg Greg Poole The Varsity gets a pass from me. And seeing The Stones in The Flats was worth the trouble of taking an extra long shower once I arrived back at the Spaceship aka Hyatt Regency.

The best part of livefyre is when you click “Like”, it changes to “Unlike” so you know you’ve already clicked “Like”. Good for us older people:)

Reddawg13 Greg Poole Can’t win em all, but getting manhandled is not an historical UGA tradition. Until fairly recently a rare event. Losing to a better team? Going to happen. Yet when you know the team gave their all, the bitterness isn’t as, well, bitter.
