I didn’t get the notification because I’ve only had the car a couple of months. I just put the VIN in at the savercar.gov. And it said it had a recall for the airbag like u said. Said the recall was incomplete
Bulldawg36 It depends on the size of the bird. I go by temperature more than time. For poultry that means, 175° F. A 14 to 16 lbs turkey takes about 5 to 7 hours if I smoke at an average temp of 230° F

Bulldawg36 If, and this is a big “if”, Coach Rocker did take the Alabama job, it is not the end of the world. Yes. It is difficult to replace coaches this time of year, but it is not impossible.

DawgByte Its a “story” all right, but I wouldn’t necessarily call it a “news” story.
You sort of contradict yourself. On the one hand you cite the clear areas of concern and the unknowns many of us may share with you, which is most of the positions, ATM, yet on the other you say it’s hard to imagine we don’t improve on last year’s 10 win season. That’s a stretch by your own arguments. Now, if you had said you can’t see us not improving on last year’s overall play, and consistency, which may not translate i to more than 10 wins, I’d buy that…jmho
I reported last night that the Tracy Rocker to Alabama is nothing more than rattling of sabers. While it is true that Rocker is on Alabama’s list of candidates and that he could be contacted if that is the case, we have not been able to verify if that is the case. It is not impossible that he would leave to take a job at Alabama, the Crimson Tide would have to fork over some serious cash for this to happen.
Why? Tracy Rocker was given an associate head coach title and raise. Plus, his son is in school here in the local area.
What about reports on Tracy Rocker and Jeremy Pruitt’s relationship, is it friendly, tolerable, can they not stand one another? No one knows but the coaches. There
Why didn’t Bulldawg Illustrated have a write up on Tracy Rocker? Because it is a non-news story. Nothing has been verified. It is basically a forum thread rumor on another site(s). The only candidate I have been able to find that has been contacted is Buffalo Bills’ d-line coach Karl Dunbar, and even Alabama sources won’t confirm that.

Colonial Dawg I understand your enthusiasm based on improved talent and depth at WR/TE. We still have serious question marks at the QB position, OL, RB, DL, ILB kicking game. Having said that I really like this coaching staff to teach these guys up, add more intensity and be better prepared to play all 4 quarters. It’s hard to imagine us not improving on last years mark. If Eason comes on early (UNC game) and lights it up then Katy bar the door, because this team will be on fire. Gotta shore up the D though… that’s the most troublesome area for me right now.

Greg Poole Well there are folks that loved Richt and lost that love or a portion of it. And those that still love him and both groups are entitled. However, every time there is a coaching change there will be comparisons. That is both natural and okay. We should all allow each other to have their thoughts and opinions and have a good BI discussion on the matter when it is brought up. I loved Richt for a long time and the tolerated him and then lost faith. I believe we are headed in the right direction and the evidence is plain to see. Attack the day and the season and especially the opponents!

Colonial Dawg Less than 8 will be very troubling – an indication of internal problems. 8-10 will be about what is expected in a transition, given CKS pedigree. More than 10 wins means you better up your contribution and save your money for future playoff travel.

Ok, here is my 2 cents worth, and maybe it’s worth less than 2 cents…..
I keep reading where the Dawgs will win anywhere from a low of 8 to a max of 12 games this year. Richt was able to coax 10 wins (yes I know one belongs to BMac) out of this team with Schotty as OC, Lambert as quarterback and not a lot of depth at WR, along with forgetting about the tight ends. And the team was a dropped pass away from 11-2. Yes, we were also very close to being 8 and 5. Well, at worst, we have the same quarterback, a better OC, tight ends who can be world beaters, better depth at WR. Yes, we have questions especially on the DL, but I just somehow cannot see us going as low as 8 wins. I still think we win 11 games this year. Now, if we do only win 8, I will accept that as a transition and look forward to 2017, but I am cautiously optimistic re 2016. Am I crazy?
On the Rocker Non-Story:
I saw the Bama site article in my feed this morning and read it carefully, hoping for a juicy traffic generator this morning. It is all about second-hand sources.
When a site without access to the program posts something like this that would be national news if true, one has to ask why the site that actually had the info (Dawgs247 – Jake Rowe) doesn’t have huge headline screaming “ROCKER WILL DUMP UGA FOR GUMPS”. Of course, all of the other beat media from UGA and Bama would be all over a story like that.
I posted it in this forum only and 247 posted a little blurb on it – at this point (and IMHO forever) it is a non-story.

DawgByte Bulldawg36 I was under the impression (maybe wrongly so) that Rocker was not a fan of Pruitt’s. If so, can’t figure out why he would want to go work for him again.
Bulldawg36 Then you should have known that it is a source within a source story. I suspect that Rocker is a “candidate” for every open DL job in the country – if you define “candidate” as someone the team would like to hire.
Dawgs247 confirmed the “candidacy” the confirmed that a hire is “unlikely”.

Bulldawg36 If I’m McGarity I’d feel out the interest level before automatically increasing his pay. An athletic program can’t be held hostage by coaches threatening to leave all the time or payroll spirals out of control. Rodney Garner use to pull that crap all the time!

I was a wee bit surprised to wake up and see this news story. With Rocker’s kids in local Athens area schools and what he has consistently said about wanting to provide stability for them, I’d be shocked if he chose to take a lateral move to Bama. We need to keep an eye on this one!! Can’t afford to lose Rocker.
