    Brooklyndawg Richmondawg Bulldawg36 ten years  ago I lived on the same street, about five blocks west, and it was raccoon territory up there. Now, I’m clearly on possum turf. Wonder if I could give them a bunch of PBR and recreate the rumble from West Side Story?

    RobDawg Statham is in Barrow county, Bogart is in Oconee county. They are geographic neighbors but I don’t know if Statham is considered a suburb of Bogart.

    DawgDaddy Nope, but I was born there and lived there for a couple of years in the early 80’s.

    Richmondawg Bulldawg36 We have to pick up any cat food on our deck at night (there’s a disabled stray cat we feed), because the raccoons and possums climb right up the stairs and go to town. But never in the daytime, only at night, and usually late.

    Greg Poole Good, I don’t think you live in Milledgeville though.  Ours comes and goes at times too.

    Bulldawg36 We have plenty of dumpster possums here, as my building shares an alley with three restaurants…. They’ll probably crawl right up in your lap for a chicken leg. Just don’t pet the small ones, they’re actually rats…

    With this recent obsession with Racoons maybe we need to consider changing our mascot…###

    PS You see a racoon in the daytime and there’s a chance it’s rabid! Maybe Texan racoons are different….lol

    I hope everyone that has the opportunity to do so will wish their mom’s a very happy Mother’s Day and make sure you tell them what they mean to you. They will not be around forever as much as we would like to be.
