Greg Poole Saban makes sense, and I agree this will not happen.   The most interesting part of this article was Why Coaches Rank Players.  Nice read with the morning coffee.

Score Check Yup. I don’t know if McGee is in the background of any of these commits but RBs aren’t typically difficult for us to recruit. Kirby vouched for him when he was hired, “Dell McGee, who I had the great fortune of recruiting his high school. Every time I’ve gone to Dell’s high school, I’ve always thought about the respect I had for him as a person first and foremost,” Smart said of McGee. “I can’t tell you how many times Coach (Nick) Saban and I went through the whole http://247sports.com/Player/Gabe-Wright-20033 and http://247sports.com/Player/Isaiah-Crowell-519 process where I thought ‘Man, this guy is a really reputable person. He’s going to be a great college coach one day.’

I really hated it when Kirby lost Thomas Brown.  I hope Dell Mcgee comes through.

Greg Poole If Eason can learn to make good decisions then he probably should start. Might as well get him some game experience for next season. Chaney’s belief that 60% of throws are movement throws bodes well for QB play IMO. Bill Walsh taught his QBs to get moving after their second progression. Eason seems fairly accurate with his throws and he has the arm strength to fit the ball into tight windows. Seems like some of the big bodied receivers that will be available in 2016 should be able to use their length to have a shot at catching most passes, even if their covered. If Chubb gets back to 100%, that will really help out the passing game.

Greg Poole Strange read, mostly spoke about his relationship with LSU and a pending offer leading to a flip to LSU.  Doesn’t sound like a solid commit to me.

DawgLink I mean Sippy is about to get buried and guys still lining up to play there? Must be the medical pot they grow in Oxford. Players get a green stipend?

Greg Poole My old pumphouse, in the right location, being about 500 sq ft, would in LA, cost more than my house. A lot more.

Another tidbit from my source who has seen all spring practices – including the scrimmages. He would not get into my specific questions about QB performance – “I thnk he starts Eason” was all he would say.
