RumRunnerDoogie AlphaDawg dsw61 Greg Poole Would it be a demotion? It would be lateral, no?

On the live chat with Chip Towers I asked him about the “silver britches ” and he didn’t answer my question. I will never asked him another question again. It’s plain ridiculous that MCGARITY can’t get UGA the real silver!!!!!!!!!!!!

AlphaDawg They are college students. I doubt that cutting back on practice will result in more sleep – jus’ sayin’

AlphaDawg dsw61 Greg Poole idk where all these rumors came from, why would he take a demotion?

BahitsAgain AlphaDawg godawgs678 I had a single banana as well…  feeling kind of left out as well!

  7. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole I thought you said no politics.  Why did you post that picture of Hillary?

  8. BahitsAgain

AlphaDawg godawgs678 now you did it.  My banana breakfast doesn’t feel so fillingnow.

  9. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole Maybe, the IMG experience and time away from home will have the same homesickness affect on him as it did with Nauta.

That definitely worked in our favor.

BahitsAgain Good questions but as a percentage of the total population a small problem to be addressed. It is not going to happen anyway, thus sweating the details is moot.

AlphaDawg Greg Poole What if the kid gets a serious injury?  If schools hold back on offering because they are instantly used if the kid signs, then the offers become more valuable.  Saban had no problem “grey shirting” kids as they got hurt during their senor season, but Richt did and he would stick with them.  How will Kirby handle it?  How would offer/sign affect the grey shirt strategy of some coaches?

Greg Poole AlphaDawg or Butch Jones will need to find a way to sign 400 players

  13. Greg Poole

AlphaDawg It would change the mass offerings, however. If every offer is commitable, schools would be far less likely to extend them as now.

Greg Poole LOL they never win early. Butch always pads the 2nd half of the seaon

  15. MMCSDAWG

AlphaDawg Greg Poole Been saying that for a while now…  Win, and they will come!!

  16. Greg Poole

AlphaDawg I guess. Certainly, winning promotes more winning but if that were it not streak would ever stop.
Not arguing but there is more to it than recruiting.

Greg Poole My assumption is that most kids would end up waiting until the end anyways since they know they’ve got more offers coming down the line and need to make visits. It would only make things different for those who really want to go somewhere and only one place.

Plus with the coaching changes going all the way into May now, it’s not going to change a late ‘mass’ signing, imo.

Greg Poole AlphaDawg The wonderful for Bama is they don’t have to worry about getting a great recruiter. The championships market themselves. Get the person you think can do the job well.

  19. Greg Poole

AlphaDawg Yes, that reasoning was posted, but, from what I heard last year , there would have been some serious changes made by one of them for that to happen.

“A year ago, Rodriguez began exploring the idea of eliminating National Signing Day and allowing colleges to sign players at any point during their high school careers. This notion sounds counterintuitive to people who don’t understand how recruiting works in 2016, but it would slow the process because each offer would correspond to one of a school’s 25—or fewer—scholarships a year. Think about it this way: If you had to present a diamond ring the first time you said, “I love you,” how long would you wait to utter those words? “It’s an easier solution than looking at changing the recruiting calendar and visits,” Rodriguez said. “Most of the other issues can be tied directly to that.”

dsw61 Greg Poole I read that’s exactly why he was going to go. Anywho, glad he’s sticking with the Dawgs
