Bulldawg Bob2  One of these days a kid is going to sue a school for dismissing him before a case is adjudicated.

Bulldawg Bob2 Athens needs to have a squirrel season. The rodents are everywhere. Maybe import some hawks for varmint control.

  3. Bulldawg Bob2

Greg Poole I was most concerned with Ben Cleveland getting caught on campus hunting squirrels than I was hearing about Clay and Rochester deciding to do some late Monday target practice  ####

Greg Poole Aye. If the felonies stick, then it is basically a similar situation to Isaiah Crowell back in 2012.
Let’s hope the prosecutor and school doesn’t want to make an example of them.

Bulldawg Bob2 >>> The only question is, how many games will it cost them? If the felonies stick – which is seriously doubt – they will most likely be gone.

I know some of you will ask why is a BB or pellet gun a big deal, but you have to keep in mind that is basically a no tolerance policy when it comes to weapons on school campuses. You also have to keep in  mind today’s current climate with perceived weapons on college campuses with the recent school shootings.

A lot of BB and pellet guns look like real guns, especially to people that don’t know the difference; so, as Greg Poole mentioned below, it is most likely that they were reported and the police called on them.

While I expect the charges to most likely be reduced, we will have to see what the school decides to do here. I strongly suspect that both Rochester and Clay will have to miss some playing time at the very least. How much is the big question?

Bulldawg Bob2  Didn’t GA just pass a law allowing guns at schools? j/k I doubt that the law oks target practice.

  8. Bulldawg Bob2

Greg Poole Aye, and whomever did might of thought they were actual  guns and not air guns. In today’s climate, and with the no tolerance at schools and government facilities, it was not a bright move on their part.

Good morning all you Georgia Bulldawg fans and DGD’s.

About to head off to get some biscuits before running some more CAT5 Ethernet cable. Let’s see how many spiders I can find today in the processe 😉

Greg Poole Hearing the weapon they were caught with is some sort of air rifle or gun like a BB or pellet gun, and that the damage to property occurred in the apartment they share.

Rusty Mansell says they were shooting a pellet gun in an apartment. The charges will probably be reduced to misdemeanors.

    Good morning Leatherheads.

Colonial and I have already posted in a mysterious thread.

Given that he inherited a 3-9 team with a lot of holes, Muschamp won’t be burdened with astronomical Year 1 expectations. Just getting back to a bowl game will be enough for the Gamecocks, and thus McIlwain — should he win the job — does not have to be an instant star. Still, the direction of the offense will be closely scrutinized as Muschamp attempts to correct the mistakes of his past and prove he is capable of succeeding at South Carolina where he failed at Florida.
