Bulldawg Bob2 Afternoon. Hope the wife is doing well. Had a question about Ryan Glover, QB from Woodward earlier today.

  2. Brooklyndawg

BahitsAgain Brooklyndawg Greg Poole I remember the sinking feeling of it seemingly happening more to American racers than to any other country. Maybe because of the TV exposure….

  3. Brooklyndawg

Greg Poole I see extra holding onto the dang ball drills coming up for him. Not a good thing to do with your coaches looking on. Of course, it could have been a bad handoff. How many American Olympians have dropped the baton?

  4. Greg Poole

I have to start processing photos but just a few notes from Jefferson:
Talked to Tucker and Sherrer each for a few minutes. Nothing important just, Hey, How ya doin’?
    Tucker was taping kids himself.
Talked to Holyfield, Mecole, Tutt and a couple of other recruits. Mecole dropped the baton in a relay, disqualifying his team. I may have a shot of it.

BahitsAgain Bulldawg Bob2  Hahahaha. Aye. Not saying no one has never gotten injured being high on pot. I just never saw it at the ER.

People are more likely to do stupid things or get hurt when under the influence, but generally, people do way more stupid “stuff” drunk on alcohol than high on pot.

  6. Brooklyndawg

BahitsAgain Bulldawg Bob2 According to my “source” who claims he was was right there in the room with him, Robert stumbled over a chair near the window, he didn’t just decide to jump. Of course, this same source told me unequivocally that DRob was coming to UGA….LOL

  7. Bulldawg Bob2

RumRunnerDoogie Bulldawg Bob2  LOL! Hey man. I’m right there with you. I like my beer and bourbon.

Score Check Easy one….Dumb and Dumber. What a very sad waste of a lifetime.

  9. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole Score Check I hope for his sake, it was some good weed.

    smh, what a waste.

  10. Greg Poole

Score Check I was in Jefferson standing with Radi, J. Reuse, and J. Rowe when that broke. We just shook our heads.

MMCSDAWG Bansai buckeroo I have very mixed views.  I don’t like the power that the “war on drugs” has given to the central authority, but I also want some type of taboo to be kept in place that will stop many kids and adults from trying or consistently using various drugs.

Not many things are perfect, and our drug strategies don’t really have a hope nor prayer of ever reaching that plateau.   God help us and those addicted, their family and friends, and anyone that has a negative dealing with someone high on one thing or another.

Score Check I guess changing coaches did not change some of the behavior of players.

  13. BahitsAgain

Bulldawg Bob2 Well, there is Robert Kimchee and his jumping out hotel windows…..

Seriously I hate to see him blow his opportunity.   But he knew what the rule was when he joined the team, but chose to break them multiple times.

  15. Bulldawg Bob2

Yes. I do trust the modern studies.
But I trust my experience in several different ERs more. I save many patients come in with drinking problems who had alcohol poisoning or had been injured in MVAs due to the fact theywould rather drink and drive then make the decision to not drink.
I even saw a couple of people come in with nicotine poisoning.
I never saw one person come into the ER from smoking weed, and no one in the ERs I worked with had either.
Alcohol was the number one drug that was problematic. After that it was meth and heroin.
I didn’t say pot couldn’t be addictive, but pot itself chemically is not as addictive as alcohol or nicotine. With anything else, there are individuals that are predisposed to becoming addicts. Those are the people that could get addicted to pot, but they are just or more likely to get addicted to another vice.

Bulldawg Bob2 Hope the Mrs. is doing better BB2!  let her know we are all praying for her!

  17. Bulldawg Bob2

Checking in from Emory. Hope everyone is having a good day, a good Friday the 13th. Muwahahahahaha

BahitsAgain Bulldawg36 I too won’t get into the legalization of pot…  but I will also add that the Marijuana that is being produced and smoked today is NOTHING like what we used to smoke back in my day.  The natural THC levels of MJ are not anything near what they were back in my day.  The “New” pot farms have used genetic engineering to develop pot now that contains up to 500% more THC/mg than what was most commonly available back in our day.

note:  I just read Bob’s comment while I was reading this.  You are correct Bob.  But, do you really trust the studies that your referencing?  Kind of like those same studies that were done by the tobacco companies back in the day.   The Addictive Personality is the key to any addition.  like I mentioned earlier I have first hand experience with such a person.  My son.

  19. Bulldawg Bob2

Leonard was a good player, I wouldn’t call him a sack master. Who is going to be Georgia’s next Jarvis Jones or Justin Houston.

  20. Bulldawg Bob2

Pot is not as addictive as alcohol, nicotine or gambling, studies have shown this, but as with any other drug or vice, it can be addictive for some that have an addictive personality.

  21. BahitsAgain

Bulldawg36 My biggest gut feeling against legalizing pot centers around seeing people not be able to give it up even when it is massively against their best interest.

It screams to me that it is an addicting drug.  I know people will say that it isn’t dangerous or as dangerous as alcohol, but grief, if you are a full scholarship UGA football player and you can’t put that crap down for 3 or 4 years……SMHS

Obviously the early stages of dementia are setting in….top what were you thinking?..##
