MMCSDAWG Nowhere near 1k are involved with the old timers game. Kirby has significantly increased involvement with lettermen. ADGM said they have never had over 500 before.

tmdawg12 I guess i am in the minority on this, I am 50+ and I like Ludacris. Not a big rap fan but can appreciate what he does. My son is 22 and we share a love for cars and Fast and Furious Movies. I think most of the team and recruits will love it. I for one am glad Ludacris stepped up and is performing definitely better than a video.

RumRunnerDoogie DawgByte rugbydawg79 Agree… advertising will be key. I can see promotions depicting these guys as Gladiators.

  4. DawgByte

Looking forward to being in Athens tomorrow and meeting as many of you as possible. I should be easy to spot… I’ll be wearing a red polo style shirt with a black UGA G on it. If you spot me, come up and say “Hi”.

  5. Rickpope2330

Lol good one. Is there a list anywhere who all will be participating in the flag game and if there is a potential for autograph signing by them

Greg Poole RealtorDawg (aka 10canpirate) I believe the lack of having a 21st century PR was borne out be the underwhelming Heisman campaign for Gurly, and even coming off injury Chubb. Cause if he’s 95% of what he was, he’s the among best two or three backs in America not named Todd Gurly.

  7. Jesse1

Greg Poole That is a powerful statement. Most know there was friction between the Wally Butts boys and Dooley ( see Chris Morocco, Bobby Walden Jr, among others. Hoping everyone  is on board with the new staff, though I believe our current CEO is in tune with those guys.

  8. MMCSDAWG

Rickpope2330 I believe they are part of the pre-game with and Alumni game or something…  lol

  9. DawgByte

godawgs678 I don’t make predictions any more, but I’m pretty sure we land a commit before next Feb.

  10. RumRunnerDoogie

DawgByte RumRunnerDoogie rugbydawg79 well most these guys were professionals before this league so i think the games will be good. They need to dump a lot into advertising this league and promoting it to make it work

  11. DawgByte

RumRunnerDoogie DawgByte rugbydawg79 Good observation. It’s a bit of a conundrum though. If the rugby play isn’t good, people will get frustrated and turn it off and by the same token to attract the best players to improve play, the league needs competitive salaries to attract the best athletes.  One thing that make the 6 Nations Tour so enjoyable is the level of rugby is fantastic.

Greg Poole RealtorDawg (aka 10canpirate) What may have been state of the art in 2002 is the Stone Age now. Yet one can’t help but think it’s time the Luddites were given pink slips. I mean all that stuff Clemson built in 2003-2005? They are in the process of replacing. Meanwhile back at 1 Selig Circle. Who knows. Maybe things are happening so fast, the pace has cused the condition to go from shock to atrophy.xd

  13. DawgLink

I have the preferred package. Idk what’s included. All I do know is that it is the second most expensive one

  14. Jesse1

RobDawg That was when it dawned on me how far behind UGA football had fallen. Out of shape, over confident, sloppy line play and discipline. Boise St personified Team. 60 minutes of hustle.

  15. Jesse1

Greg Poole I haven’t had any issues since the switch. On the contrary, BI is working  infinitely superior than BZ. Just my two cents.

  16. RumRunnerDoogie

DawgByte RumRunnerDoogie rugbydawg79 its the offseason for most sports so i could see many a fox sports (hopefully) picking them up

  17. Greg Poole

ronaldo77  Jake is back to covering recruiting? He has been the beat writer for 247. Maybe, he knows this kid.

  18. Greg Poole

RealtorDawg (aka 10canpirate) A go cart would be a serious step up from the donkey cart at B-M

  19. Jesse1

tmdawg12 I’m taking the John Sebastian approach. ” To be tolerant and respectful of the younger generation, even when they stick a finger in a fan.

  20. RumRunnerDoogie

Bulldawg36 him and greg are going to build sofa and sheet forts and gossip about UGA football all night

  21. DawgByte

RumRunnerDoogie DawgByte rugbydawg79 Agree… the quicker a network buys the rights to broadcast the sooner revenue will start to flow into the league. That’s a critical element. I’m hoping the popularity of 7’s drives people towards RU play.
