Reddawg13 Jesse1 am still a huge fan of Nu-Way, that spoils it for me for Varsity dogs.  I eat the rings, burgers and orange drink though.

Zippy, ya’ll have fun and keep no injuries today. I’ll be thinking of the Gday crowd while out here in AZ. We had brutal high winds yesterday afternoon and made my son’s competition almost impossible. But like golf if you have bad weather during your draw on your day it’s just the breaks. Go Dawgs

Reddawg so then if you are like me in regards to the varsity you will then be paying for it today 🙂

I’m anxious to see how our OL may look with blocking schemes, any pulling and how we pass protect under the new coaching. One area I think we have that can be changed and have MAJOR impact

Regarding the ever present idea that we are going to somehow now bring our A game every week because we have overcome the previous staffs unique ability to be unprepared and we got embarrassed because the team didnt show up…
My position is, and has been…every team, in every sport, at every level…have times they come out and dont play well and Georgia is no better or worse in that respect…its called sports…
One of the popular games to call out is the Florida debacle of 2014…which resulted in an 18 point loss…so taking the bar of ‘not showing up’ as losing by more than 2 touchdowns I looked at three SEC peers for the last 5 years….
Number of games losing by more than two TDs in the last 5 years…Ga – 6, LSU – 6, Aub – 14, Fla – 9
Quibble with the criteria if you want but regardless of the criteria we dont look terribly different, and often better, than our main competitors…trot out the Alabama comparison if you like but every other school looks stupid in that comparison, and even Alabama has had games where they way underperformed (OM 2 years in a row?)…if Kirby gets our talent level to Alabamas level then yeah, we should start seeing fewer of those games…

RumRunnerDoogie Jesse1 Thanks for the heads up. My Tequila will stay in it’s bottle until I’m safely ensconced in the friendly confines of downtown Athens. HeHeHe

Jesse1 watch out for bob on the roads, still might have some still in his system from last night#

Bulldawg Bob2 Have to figure Chaney will want to show the fans the offense has a pulse. After looking so anemic the last  half of 2015, simply letting a few rip will fire up the fans, myself included. Good chance we see some “Rabid Dawg” some misdirection, traps, slant screens. Knowing the unpredictable is part of the game plan is comforting. Hoping to leave Sanford Stadium this evening believing that regardless of record, the squad has faith in what the staff is trying to inculcate. The little stuff. That onion skin thin margin that means success or, “Put in another quarter partner, and try again.”

Hey what the story with Justin Marshall of conveyors GA? Have we offered? My brother plays with him on n his 7-on-7 feam

ZippyMorocco Jesse1 Red Dawn I won’t watch the pony show, but I’m still hoping we win. After all, those kids are wearing Red & Black and sporting that “G.”

Bulldawg Bob2 Jesse1 Charity game. Do a 70/30 seat allocation. Would allow folks other than the favored few to visit the others stadium ( Clemson does it 1st class folks). Charge a dollar a head. Most years would see a mammoth crowd imo.

I will watch almost anything UGA plays. I draw the line at equestrian.

  13. Jesse1

Red Dawn I don’t care if it’s pitching pennies, flipping cards, or marbles, I want a UGA win.

Gym Dawgs got it done last night. Durante is turning it around.  I will admit that I was a hater for a while.  Women’s golf and bball trending up as well.  Kirby and the new coaches bringing the glory years to Athens again.

Don’t know how it is 88.6 miles up the road, but I’m looking at blue cloudless skies, no wind to speak of, and 62 deg. atm.

I’ve had to use my trusty old sleeping medicine in order to get some good sleep the past few days
