Murnin guys! There’s a buzz around Athens right now like I’ve never seen before. I think we really have something special going on and next years class is gonna go down in the history books!

Heading up to Lane Creek for a round of golf, y’all see if you can get a commit today while I am on the road.  See y’all later.

Just being honest with y’all…it won’t hurt my feelings one bit if Nico Collins signs with the Dawgs.

Thinking we get a commit today after some buzz on Twitter. Either way, hope everyone has a great day!

Jesse1 I get it – it’s too late. for sure. The practice dates question was meant to be off-topic.

Greg Poole Jesse1 Yeah, but think about the logistics this late. Had the decision come down in Feb. we could be deciding on Buford vs Grayson, or Rowsell vs North Gwinnett, or Thomson vs Blessed Trinity.

Greg Poole Jesse1 Glad it’s been brought back. Will still count as one of the 10 practice days.

Greg Poole Jesse1 2017. Too late for this year. Shoot. School is out here in 3 and a half weeks for the kids.

In other news. Yesterday GHSA reinstated the option of member schools playing a spring football game against another team. For years spring games were a staple, and a nice cash infusion to schools hosting the games.  Say Warner Robins vs Newnan back in the day. Stadium was packed. Same with Richmond Academy vs Savannah High. Scrimmages you might not see until playoff time.

Jesse1 That’s impossible. Did the Stanford coach not just remark that there was no one in the South smart enough to get into Stanford.

Greg Poole Note: The author of the story just happens to be from …..roll the drums…..Savannah! Kid knows the culture. for sure.
