Greg Poole Eh not a fan of this. Now recruits are going to value how much a school likes them based off if they show up to their grandma’s funeral. Plus, just not a good place for 4 coaches to be for a very different reason than recruiting.
@MMCSDAWG….trip was good…beautiful weather… Area had really changed from when I was there in the early 60’s….not the Canyon of course…haha…will spend a couple of days in Santa Fe before heading home to Marietta and to a ton of yard work I expect…..Altitude at the Canyon and also Santa Fe is about 7000 ft….a little rough for this old boy from Georgia….a lot of huffing and puffing….. 🙂

1mandawgpack MMCSDAWG Kirby knows it too, it frees up the safeties to roam and create turnovers as well. Before Fitzpatrick got to bama last year, they were missing that steady rock solid DB.
MMCSDAWG 1mandawgpack These guys are so critical as, with lock down corners who are comfortable being put on an island by themselves, it creates so much more versatility for the rest of the defense not having to assist as significantly in coverage.

Greg Poole Interesting watch. Hopefully Natrez will be able to do some of these same things for us.
With Poole and LeCounte now committed, it’s going to be interesting to see how the remainder of the dominos fall at DB. While I realize that the coaches will find a way to take certain of these young men (e.g., Gibbs) even if their recruitment lasts until NSD, that will only be the case for the truly elite. For the others, the spots are filling up and they are likely going to need to make a decision long before they may wish to get a seat on this locomotive.
