    AlphaDawg TeeHDawg Exactly. But I think Hardman has more upside at CB than Smith did. I’m all for Hardman getting the ball also. He is probably the closest we have seen to Champ Bailey in a while.

    AlphaDawg Morning guys. Smith had some unreal speed. Wish they would have used him at WR instead of CB. He would have been more of a threat with the ball in his hands I feel.

    MMCSDAWG AlphaDawg Surprised UGA wasn’t on the list. I guess we have a lot more overall drafted not first rounders.

    Greg Poole AlphaDawg Gotcha, yes I agree. I really hate that someone didn’t step up and take care of this. People are pointing the finger at Kirby like he should be overseeing this, and that’s stupid. He’s a football coach. It’s not his job to sit down and work out negotiations with a performer.

    AlphaDawg This was the exact topic on the morning sports show here in JAX!  Gotta admit, I enjoyed every minute of listening to them quibble over who was and wasn’t a bust!  lol

    CLTDawg The fact that he was asked just points out that those responsible for the mismanagement have left him to deal with it.

    The Auburn University vet school acquired a very rare species of gorilla. Within a few weeks, the female gorilla became very “in the mood”, and difficult to handle. Upon examination, the park veterinarian determined the problem. The gorilla was in heat. To make matters worse, there were no male gorillas of the species available. While reflecting on their problem, the administrators noticed Ed, a part-time student intern, responsible for cleaning the animals’ cages. Ed, like most Barners, had little sense, but possessed ample ability to satisfy a female of ANY species. So, the administrators thought they might have a solution. Ed was approached with a proposition. Would he be willing to have sex with the gorilla for $500? Ed showed some interest, but said he would have to think the matter over carefully. The following day, Ed announced that he would accept their offer, but only under three conditions. “First,” he said, “I don’t want to have to kiss her. Secondly, you must never tell anyone about this.” The administration quickly agreed to these conditions, so they asked what was his third condition. “Well,” said Ed, “You gotta give me another week to come up with the $500….

    AlphaDawg I’m talking about the press coverage related to the failure to either get out in front of the rider disclosures or to simply strike the parts of the rider that would not look good if disclosed. It’s all about the PR.

    Greg Poole I don’t see how it was a disaster.  I don’t think the money was bad and I don’t care about all the little items either.  Heck, we may spend more on ex-coaches salaries every week than this contract.  Come on.

    Greg Poole I haven’t read one article pertaining to the entertainment on G-Day because I refuse to click on any of the links. The entertainment for me was watching the players play football.
