    Crappy field for sure but I don’t think it was the reason for Chubbs injury….not from what I remember anyway…

    MMCSDAWG AlphaDawg Bulltoad I agree. but when you’re winning you’re so growing and bringing in more cash. It’s a revolving cycle.

    @Chief…Finally using our tight ends again as well…..new coaches, new system, quarterback situation unsettled, just a few of the things that I will cut Kirby and company some slack this year……Next year will be different…he inherited a pretty good team after all …….

    BhamDawg5634 bonsai buckeroo Getting a win from UNC would set a solid tone for the season. Lose and everyone in the SEC writes off our future success. It’s great knowing Kirby will be more prepared for games than Richt (imo). I hope we keep it 2 or less. One not coming from UT.

    bonsai buckeroo I will tolerate what ever comes as long as I see a team out there busting their humps from first whistle to the last.  I want to see our team develop a nasty side, I want to see an offense that keeps the pedal to the metal, and a defense that can save us from time to time when our rookie QB makes a mistake.  I want a defense that creates turnovers.  We have a YOUNG team this year, so I’m willing to lose a few more games than last year, but honestly, I don’t expect it.

    bonsai buckeroo I am going to say 2-3.  I am not sure which teams it will be yet.  UNC could be one to start the year depending on the QB and the health of the team coming out of camp and if we have any suspensions from the spring fall out.  After that the only other team I worry about in the regular season is Old MIss in their house.

    AlphaDawg MMCSDAWG Bulltoad I personally don’t believe we will ever see the day that UGA is anywhere near UA in the “Anything” you want category.  UGA has worked hard to be recognized as a nationally recognized top 20 university and the post Jan Kemp mentality still lingers the halls of our offices.  I don’t think we have to reach nearly as far into the dumpster like Alabama did to achieve greatness in Athens.

    MMCSDAWG Bulltoad Just wait until Kirby is winning. The difference at UGA is it’s a win first mentality, then you can have what you want. He’s going to have to prove that first, but once he does it will be smooth sailing.

    Bulldawg Bob2 UGA video productions are cranking out videos every day it seems. It’s hard to keep track of all of them these days

    Bulldawg Bob2 TeeHDawg   I agree. they will rotate the front 7 a good bit.

    Also, I feel they should move Roquan around between LB, S, and Nickel. He is a player that we haven’t had since Thomas Davis.

    Bulldawg Bob2 That’s the Racers right.  They had a NCAA tournament run at one point.  Wasn’t aware they had a football team.

    Bulldawg Bob2 The only thing that makes this game interesting is it could be a part of a magical season in Athens and people will want to be there to witness what hasn’t happen in over 35 years!
