Bulldawg36 Bigger crowds Sunday I guess, gets all the earlier church goers and IHOP/Cracker Barrel lunch crowd in. But seriously, any word via the grapevine if CKS and staff were planning on attending? That would be the giveaway, IMO. I’ve never seen one word about that.

So we will know even sooner if Drob is coming to UGA!!!   Come on down Demetrius!  Great things happening in Athens.

Bulldawg Bob2 Bulldawg36 We work with a lawyer here in Athens that does a lot of estate planning work with wife’s estate sales company and my real estate.  We are the one stop shop to getting you house in order so to speak.  We have personally learned that lesson from family members ourselves.  Good to plan well.

  4. Bulldawg36

Yup. The only weakness he has that I see if you can call it that- is he needs to throw ball away instead of taking the sack but that will come with experience. Would rather go thru growing pains with Eason than another year With Lambert. Lambert isn’t that bad, but he isn’t gonna win you the East either IMO

Bulldawg36 Anyone watching the G-day game has to agree with that one!  No way I expected him to come out and perform like that.  The entire weight of dawg nation was on his shoulders and he performed like he’d been there before.  That said a lot for me.

@dsw61…. Wow…thanks for all the info on shoulder tilt….didn’t mean for my comment to put you to work this morning but really good stuff…. I think you are right about bringing it to his attention and letting him figure it out without putting undo pressure on him……

Bulldawg Bob2 MMCSDAWG Will do…  I have already given my input on another 18 class DB…  Tyreke Johnson-  I coached him for 4 years in pop warner.  He is a talented kid, but I didn’t like his game performance the two times I watched him in person last year.  Tons of talent, but his whole team is talented (Trinity Christian) and they take plays off too much, of course they are also winning by 4 touchdowns in most of their games…  But the one game against my sons team, they only beat us by 10pts.  Which is saying something since Trinity is 2 divisions higher in classification.  I know his mom Pam really well, and he does have a ton of talent…  I don’t believe I would waste a ton of resources on him though…  I’m old school so I’m probably being too harsh on him and I’ll let the coaching staff be the final say!

MMCSDAWG You’ll have to give a BD Illustrated eye in the sky report if you do 🙂

AlphaDawg MMCSDAWG Bulldawg Bob2 Bulldawg36 My GF is going to love selling all those golf clubs I have too!  lol

MMCSDAWG Bulldawg Bob2 Bulldawg36 Got to get your finances in order. My wife is going to be so happy I left her with so many Legos

MMCSDAWG Bulldawg Bob2 Bulldawg36 That is nuts.  I listened to a Van Jones interview  (communist that he is, it was still a good interview) about Princes’ cherity work.  I am surprised he didn’t have a will and have most of his estate going to several charities.

    stunning

Bulldawg36 Little nugget…  It was mentioned on another site that Eason did a little more than photo ops with M. Stafford while he was in town.  Word is that Stafford spent some time with Eason in the film room and that Eason is a film room junkie!  Also reported that Stafford gave him some tips on how to organize summer drills and workouts.  This kid showed poise in front of 93K that totally surprised me, I believe he is the starter by the end of game one, with Ramsey as the wildcard.

Bulldawg Bob2 dsw61 Both would be amazing, but I’m just hoping UGA gets at least one of the two. It’s going to be a real bummer if the staff misses on both.

  14. dsw61

Brees with lots of shoulder tilt…looks like long throw.
    Brady with shoulder tilt.
    Manning with shoulder tilt.

  15. Bulldawg Bob2

    K. Ladies and gents, my lunch break is over. Back to work I go, but I be watching from ‘de phone.

  16. dsw61

Regarding the shoulder tilt discussion earlier. Here is Rogers throwing with shoulder tilt, and without.

  17. Bulldawg36

It’s bad she had to become rich that way. Also too many former great dawgs need to quit dying as well. Durn it!!!

  18. MMCSDAWG

Bulldawg Bob2 Bulldawg36 The sister that was a crack addict??  I heard she was his only living relative…  Sad.  I find it hard to believe that someone with the business sense that Prince displayed wouldn’t have a will..

  19. Bulldawg36

I hope Eason works his tail off in summer workouts!!!!!!!!! I hope become the ultimate leader!!!! I’m sure he will!!!! Now is time to take the qb job!!!!!

  20. Bulldawg Bob2

Bulldawg36  Aye. And just read that Prince apparently didn’t have a will and his sister was named executor of his estate.

  21. Bulldawg36

Man I’ve listened to so much prince music this week!!!!!! Too many people are passing away in April!!!U0001f622

  22. MMCSDAWG

Bulldawg Bob2 Dang he’s right down the street from our lab…  Might have to check out Bartram Trail a game or 2 this year.

  23. Bulldawg36

Eason throws a long bomb to Robertson!!!! Touchdown!!!!!!!!! That’s gonna be music to our ears for all dawg fans around the nation!!!

Bansai buckeroo Shoulder tilt raises the release point naturally…without messing with anything else. IMO, it is very difficult to throw a spiral with level shoulders if you don’t lower your arm slot to at least 3/4. IMO, Eason’s low arm slot is directly related to lack of shoulder tilt. Not saying he can’t throw well doing what he’s doing, just saying that if the coaches decide he needs to raise his arm slot, the only correct way to do it IMO, is to add a little shoulder tilt. He actually does make some throws with shoulder tilt. Basically it all comes down to the throwing hand being able to naturally pronate…palm turns outward…as the ball is released. IMO it’s hard to get the timing of the pronation right when throwing with level shoulders…unless you lower the arm slot…which is what I think Eason is doing.

If I were working with him, I would never say one word about his arm slot. Instead I would cut out all drills that promote level shoulders; and possible suggest to him that he experiment with tilting his shoulders a little when he’s warming up to give himself an opportunity to discover something that may help him. I would…NOT…come up with drills to force him to tilt his shoulders. IMO, throwing with shoulder tilt is natural and my experience is the human body will always gravitate towards natural movements when given a nudge. IMO, this is a self discovery issue, but it helps to have someone plant the initial seed of knowledge:)
