How good was the Panthers pick?
30  Vernon Butler DT Louisiana Tech
    and New Orleans
    2S heldon Rankins DT Louisville
It is amazing that Nkemdiche almost fell out of the first round.  #29.   He should have been a top 5 or maybe #1 pick, if he had kept his head on straight.   Less to all recruits considering Ole Miss and Freeze.

CLTDawg Bulltoad Would love Henry, Ragland, A’Shawn Robinson or Jarraan Reed if any are available.

AlphaDawg I gotta think Holloman is one of the “secret commits”. He’s always posting pro-Georgia tweets.

  4. BahitsAgain

CLTDawg All us Dawgs are full blown schadenfreude after what he and they did to us.  That whole recruiting thing was low down dirty.

I don’t care where a kid goes, just treat school fairly.  Do your flipping or decommitting early – a few months before signing – or don’t commit.

  5. BahitsAgain

AlphaDawg Greg Poole Even though it annoyed me that other schools could come into Georgia, other SEC schools are the ones I would want blocked out.

I don’t mind Michigan or other frozen tundra schools coming down here and spending their cash.  Maybe, we all should come up with some business to take advantage of them.  🙂

  6. BenKellam

CLTDawg BahitsAgain BenKellam AlphaDawg They have like 6 or 7 guys on the roster that were drafted by the falcons from the sec. I guess I tend to notice it more since they never seem to pick georgia kids.

  7. BenKellam

BahitsAgain BenKellam I’d say it still hurt him quite a bit. Maybe even more than if it were earlier. He like 10 million dollars compared to where he was projected to get drafted, then he went up on that stage and admitted to everything. If it had happened at a time when his PR people could have prepped him on answers he may have avoided most of the damage to old miss too.

  8. BahitsAgain

AlphaDawg I don’t care.  The kid can take as much time as he wants.  It is his life.

AlphaDawg CLTDawg  Alpha, I have a free app called “the score”. It gives real time updates on all levels of football and bball. Noticed last night it listed all the order of picks, and updated as each pick was made. Great app!!

  10. CLTDawg

BenKellam BahitsAgain AlphaDawg CLTDawg When will that meme stop? The Falcons have as many SEC players as any team not named St. Louis or Kansas City.

  11. BahitsAgain

BenKellam BahitsAgain AlphaDawg CLTDawg I am gratefully they skipped on the OSU guy.   That must have been torture for Dimetroff.

  12. CLTDawg

This Tunsil stuff should be a warning to all of these players with Draft aspirations: be very careful who you let in your “circle.” Someone is out to get that guy, man.

  13. BenKellam

BahitsAgain AlphaDawg CLTDawg Well the falcons don’t like the SEC much. I was surprised with their first pick. Definitely thought we were going LB with #17. Maybe they change things this year.

  14. CLTDawg

Bulltoad CLTDawg Yeah I hope they go somewhere in the defensive front for the second round. If Hunter Henry is still there though, it could be tempting.

  15. CLTDawg

QuoteLightSport AlphaDawg CLTDawg Jenkins would be a good get. One of the more pro-ready guys in this year’s class. I gotta think they are targeting the front 7 at this point.

  16. BahitsAgain

AlphaDawg CLTDawg I am hoping they get Jenkins.  At the beginning of the season he was better than Floyd.  He got dinged up and played through.  He is a warrior and Dawgs would love the Falcons for it.

  17. Bulltoad

CLTDawg I like the fact that it was an SEC player and a position of need.  You would also think that Quinn would have good insight since he coached at UF.  I still would have preferred a DL but maybe they get one in the 2nd round.

  18. CLTDawg

I know all the Jags fans on the board gotta be happy, too. Ramsey might be the best player in the draft! Huge get, right there.

  19. AlphaDawg

CLTDawg AlphaDawg You know where I can find a list of the teams picks numbered? I just tried finding one but can’t

  20. BenKellam

Bansai buckeroo It’ll start with only the top tier guys who know that teams will hold a place for them and slowly expand from there. It’ll be interesting for sure.

  21. CLTDawg

Well, as more comes out, it looks like the Falcons taking Neal at 17 was a pretty reasonable pick. He wasn’t expected to last past the Jets at 20, TD couldn’t find a trade back with the right return, and both Shaq Lawson and Myles Jack have injury concerns. Big, fast, thumping safety. Could be worse!

  22. Reddawg13

BenKellam Ole Pi$$ and Dr. Freeze been doing shady and crazy for a while! Hope the ax finally falls!

  23. Reddawg13

FWIW.  Talked to a Buddy at the gym this morning and he has an in with one of our Coaches, won’t say which one, and that Coach says we get D Rob on Sunday. Of course until he announces and shows up, who knows.

Netori Johnson and justin Shaffer are at Cedar grove. We don’t need Harbaugh there without Kirby.

  25. AlphaDawg

ZippyMorocco BenKellam If Tunsil does anything remotely smart with his draft money it would be to hire a private investigator.
