Brooklyndawg Keep in mind that Saban isn’t the one out on the front lines actually doing the recruiting, his position coaches are, so it’s unlikely that Davis is being scapegoated for something someone else did.

  2. Reddawg13

AlphaDawg He will be a great player somewhere, hope it is at the G! His Coaches are trying to get him to go to UGA. And he really likes Kirby. He should be around 250 by start of football.

  3. RobDawg

Yeah it wasn’t a mistake to strap a gas mask attached to a bong to your head and lighting it. That was absolutely intentional…

  4. Brooklyndawg

So is Bo the latest victim/scapegoat to get thrown under a bus, and no one else had the first clue? Really?

  5. Reddawg13

Bulldawg36 Bad as I want UGA to be represented on the Falcons I want them to draft whatever makes them a winner. Winning matters most  to me.

  6. Reddawg13

Bulldawg Bob2 I hope Meyers bowels lock in the open position and he poops himself to death!

DawgByte Bulldawg Bob2  I’m not sure how much talent the schools from other conferences and up north will be able to pilfer from the southeast.

I think the Texas and California schools have to be more concerned than even Florida and Georgia though.

As far as the NCAA’s decision goes, no idea.

Bulldawg Bob2 DawgByte Why in the world would the NCAA, who can’t even manage their own current set of rules, want to create a situation where they have to create a whole chapter of new one’s and then have to monitor them? They’ve just created more work for themselves in placating to schools, who are finding they need to leverage these type of gimmicks to generate more publicity for their program and pilfer more talent from the Southeast.

I posted my way too early post-spring pre-season WR depth chart in Huck’s Projected Offensive Depth Chart article, but I wanted to share it here.

    http://bulldawgillustrated.com/hucks-projected-2016-offense-depth-chart/

Here is how I have the receivers after spring practice and the G-Day game with the receivers currently on the roster.

    SPLIT END (X)
    Terry Godwin
    Reggie Davis
    Shakenneth Williams

    FLANKER (Z)
    Jayson Stanley

    Michael Chigbu
    Cavin Riley Ridley

    SLOT (Y)
    Reggie Davis

    Isaiah McKenzie
    Terry Godwin

    WR #4
    Michael Chigbu

    Cavin Riley Ridley

    Reggie Davis

If Javon Wims can stay healthy and gets the playbook down when he gets to UGA over the summer, I think he can crack the top 4 spots. Tyler Simmons could end up being a guy that Chaney and Coley use out of the slot and move around with his speed and athleticism.

And then there is Charlie Woerner. Like Wims, if he can stay healthy and get the playbook down, he’ll play. His size and athleticism is a big time weapon in the red zone as well as short yardage situations.

DawgByte Bulldawg Bob2  It will be interesting to see how the camps are regulated or if it will be a free-for-all.

  11. DawgByte

Bulldawg Bob2 Those NCAA idiots have created a hornets nest. They should have stuck with their original decision. Spineless fools.

DawgLink Yeah, he’s my all time sports legend hero. I’ve studied his views on hitting to the nth-degree. Guy was a hitting genius. One of these days when I get time during the recruiting lull, I’m going to post some material on what he did and compare it to what gets taught today in HS, college, and in some instances; in MLB. It took me a few years, but when I finally figured out what he was saying when it came to hitting, it was a revelation. It’s fun teaching kids how to hit using his philosophy. The kids really take to it too.

websater I’m looking forward to watching Lorenzo Carter earn many many millions of dollars for himself this season.

  14. Bulldawg36

Kind of makes me feel better about Pruitt being gone! Floyd is an outside backer all the way!!!!!

  15. BenKellam

Bulldawg Bob2 Bulldawg36 Wouldn’t mind them taking Jordan Jenkins. Especially if hes still around in the 3rd round.

  16. BenKellam

ZippyMorocco dsw61 Honestly its all just pc bs on their part. They are upset that they got caught. But they phrased it correctly. Pressing the wrong button is an accident. They didn’t accidentally smoke a gas mask bong but they did make a mistake.

  17. PTCDawg

Is a coach supposed to play kids where they will perform the best or where they need them the most? The two are not always the same.

  18. Bulldawg Bob2

Bulldawg36  It all depends on if a UGA player is there when they get ready to pick.

  19. Bulldawg36

Are the Falcons gonna draft any UGA players???? The Falcons better be thankful they’re in the state of Georgia or I wouldn’t like them!!!!!!!!

  20. dsw61

ZippyMorocco dsw61 Well put. A mistake is drinking three shots of whiskey when you only meant to drink two:)

  21. dsw61

websater Totally agree he was misused. Pruitt had him playing all over the place. I would not have had him dropping into coverage. Pruitt was using Lorenzo in a similar way. The NCAA allows something like 10 hours of practice time per week. That’s not a lot of time to teach a player to be a jack of all trades. I know Pruitt was leaning on the upper classmen because of all the young players on defense, but it seems like putting a premium on pressuring the QB pays dividends.

  22. ZippyMorocco

    dsw61
That is my all time pet peeve. It wasn’t a mistake. He meant to smoke weed and take money. A mistake is when you press the wrong button on a vending machine.

  23. DawgLink

Ted Williams considered going 0 for 3 a slump. Man was bad with a piece of wood in his hands

  24. dsw61

CLTDawg dsw61 Interesting read. No doubt a lot of college kids smoke marijuana. I went to HS in the late 70s; in New Hamsphire; and lots of kids smoked marijuana. Many consider marijuana a gateway drug so there is a real risk of these kids moving on to more addictive drugs. And to think Ted Williams never drank anything stronger than a milkshake for fear it would dull his senses and reflexes. I know the guy was anal about hitting and probably went overboard with his dedication, but he may have had a point.

  25. AlphaDawg

websater Don’t think we really had a choice. We put the best guy in the best place every week to win. I don’t think ILB is a good spot for a 6’4 guy either but Pruitt had to make due

  26. AlphaDawg

dsw61 I’m mad at the National guys saying “well you should consider deleting your social media if you’re a player” ….uh no, you should consider not doing illegal things or violating NCAA rules

There is no question Tunsil fell in the draft and it cost him some serious cash.
As far as Nkemdiche goes this guy appears to have some very serious issues.

  28. Brooklyndawg

Just very bad and innacurate writing and “reporting” They meant to say, made the mistskes of getting vaught
