Because of money basically without going into long detail. Will definitely move this summer because we need more room for the baby

Brooklyndawg  Weather Channel is the only place I get my weather from, they are the most reliable, after all it is slightly more than an educated guess when it comes to predicting the weather

  3. Brooklyndawg

I meant it seems like Accuweather is wrong, at least 75% of the time, so go on with what ever outdoor activities you were planning tomorrow….lol

  4. Bulldawg36

True. I haven’t fished in years. All the fish in pelzer are infected with raw sewage anyways.

  5. Bulldawg36

I think Chubb and Sony will both have 1000 years seasons in 2016! Yep that’s my prediction!!!!

  6. Hobnailboot aka RobG

Bulldawg36  if the lightning is really close  I’ll sit under the bridge or if I’m close to the ramp I’ll sit in the truck until the lightning moves out, but rain actually helps fishing, They definitely aren’t getting any wetter

  7. Brooklyndawg

Possible thunderstorms. But based on the predictions, sounds like perfect golfing weather

Hobnailboot aka RobG Bulldawg36  and lol Rob. Hahahahahaha. That’s got to be the post of the day so far.

Per UGA, there has been a schedule change regarding the UGA softball series this weekend versus Ole Miss

“SCHEDULE CHANGE: Georgia-Ole Miss Doubleheader on Saturday
Saturday’s game between Ole Miss and Georgia has been moved to a doubleheader to conclude the series due to the threat of inclement weather in Athens on Sunday.
Game one will begin at 1 p.m. ET while game two will follow at approximately 3:30 p.m. ET.”

TtownDawg Bulldawg Bob2 PTCDawg  Me too. Good kid and a good running back. Has really worked hard to get his academics in order.

  12. Bulldawg Bob2

JaxDawg  You would be surprised how many commitments that eventually verbally commit and sign with Georgia were silent commits at one point during the recruiting procecss.

  13. Bulldawg Bob2

JaxDawg  Actually D’Andre Swift is not as hard of a pull as you might think, and the Dawgs are in it for Akers right now.

Georgia has a shot at Toneil Carter out of Houston, TX along with Ty Chandler out of Nashville.

Jalen Holston out of Stockbridge hasn’t been offered yet, but Georgia is interested. Same for JD King out of Fritzgerald.

Georgia just offered A.J. Davis out of Lakeland, FL. Good running back and there is some smoke here.

  14. JaxDawg

Eh I think the silent commit thing is blown out of proportion. I’ve seen this talk happen for almost 10 years now and it never happens. It’s mainly recruits just talking and have a good time. We don’t really have 10 silents. Silents to me are still not committed so it’s as good as nothing. Would be nice is Smart actually has changed things, I think he has though. I think we will have a great class and that he will better develop talent than Richt.

  15. JaxDawg

Swift and Akers are my top two. I don’t think the ole miss situation will really impact anything, nothing will come of it and the recruits won’t think anything will happen to them. I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

  16. Brooklyndawg

Yeah, disappointing I missed Keith in a very informal setting, would have been perfect

  17. DawgByte

CLTDawg DawgByte Brooklyndawg Not buying it. Some may, with the emphasis on ‘some’. Somebody needs to take a survey on what D-1 college football players drive around on campus.

  18. Brooklyndawg

Pretty blatant, just another gangstawannabe. Speaking of which, couldn’t help but notice how Robert N and his entourage were all decked out in black. I wouldn’t have been surprised if they gave us 2 choruses of rap!

  19. CLTDawg

DawgByte Brooklyndawg You know they get that stuff either as a rental or on credit, right?

  20. CLTDawg

JaxDawg Toneil Carter. If I had to rank them all, it would go Akers, Carter, Sermon (if he stays healthy with that back issue), Swift. They are all really good players, though. We’ll be in great shape if we nab two of them…and I’m sure all this Ole Miss publicity is helping with Akers right now.

  21. JaxDawg

Sucks about Sermon, think he was the top RB we could realistically get. Akers and Swift will
be extremely hard to pull so I’m not going to count them as coming. Who are the other RB targets we have a realistic shot at getting?

  22. DawgByte

Brooklyndawg Speaking of player perks, I’m sure you caught all the bling these non-drafted (signed and paid contract – yet) football players were sporting last night? Tunsil was wearing shoes that cost $3K. Cry me a river about football players not being compensated. Yeah right!

  23. Brooklyndawg

This comes to you straight from the category of “even blind squirrels find a nut once in a while (sprinkled with grains of salt), but read on it’s interesting (an advantage of living in Athens is that once in a while you get to talk too some very interesting and talkative folks):

So, last night my wife and I are eating supper in one of our favorite restaurants when our server appears, bringing with her quite a tall guy. Turns out he’s apprenticing serving, at least for the summer. Very well spoken and very well built.  We get to talking, like at least 3 times, with one eye out for the Manager of the place.

He claimed that he was a team mate of Robert N and he was actually in the room when Robert took his famous tumble. He claimed that the media jumped on a completely false story, Robert fell over a chair, and the “other guy” in the room owned the MJ. He said “and you know who i mean”.  That’s the salt part….

Naturally I had to ask him, does Robert REALLY want a panther? He said yeah, he always wanted one, ever since they were kids together. I asked what would he do with it? He said, keep it in a cage I imagine, what would one do with a black panther?

I asked this young man why was he in Athens, is he on the UGA football team? He said no, he suffered a bad injury his sophomore year and he’s working with his coaches to determine if his body and mind can return to the right place and withstand very hard work. He said he has a younger brother who’ll be a sophomore in the SEC and “he did things the right way”, so I’m thinking the guy speaking would like to mount an earnest come-back as a WO, because there’s no way he’s going to be interested in making a career out of serving food.

It’s fascinating how close a community CFB can be. He told me I probably just walked by Keith Marshall, who was taking an early dinner and had just left.

We talked about several other things, including him thinking CKS is THE guy to take UGA to a natty, and keep us winning trophies, and many, many other recruits feel exactly the same way. We also talked about perks and payments. he said that one high profile guy had a completely furnished condo on the Florida gold coast, where he and his friends partied every chance they could.

Finally I asked him about DRob, is he really enrolling at UGA. He gave me a huge smile and a thumbs up.

That’s my little squirrels story, something for everyone. But I cannot reveal any other info.
