    1mandawgpack dsw61 Agree poor teaching starts at an early age, but in my experience it continues into HS and college. According to Chris Davis, it continues into MLB, depending on the organization. The reality is that the UGA hitter in the video I posted; as well as others in the lineup; are perfectly capable of using their bodies correctly to hit a baseball. It takes about one week working two to three hours per day to get a HS or college age kid to get the correct movements down. It takes another couple of weeks to help the player figure out how to wrap their personal style around the correct movements and get their timing down against live pitching.

    It wasn’t just statistics. They were greatly improved QBs. I’m not arguing for Lambert, just saying Chaney has done it before.

    I would agree from a statistical stand point, but statistics aren’t what I believe are the limiting factor with regard to lambert.  Don’t get me wrong, I greatly appreciate what he did for our team last year and he has been a DGD!  He may very well be our day 1 starter and I still believe we can win 10 games with lambert as our starting QB.  I just believe that our best chance to win the  SECe lies in the development and improvement of Eason throughout the season, IMO.
