Greg is closing in on 15 years writing about and photographing UGA sports. While often wrong and/or out of focus, it has been a long, strange trip full of fun and new friends.

Holy hallelujah! I can post and see updates without the site crashing! Welcome back livefyre…thank you EC and Bob for pulling the trigger!

Greg Poole you would Fox will get his guy this time around.  Four straight 20 win seasons with JJ and Maten returning seems awfully appealing to a grad transfer

Greg Poole A tell it like it is man at the podium may not be loved. Though he will usually be respected.

DawgLink The cesspool of the South. Been going on since Bowdon Wyatt was their coach. The halo effect of Neyland’s influence on the game seems to have been their kevlar for 60 years. Maybe, finally, it’s beginning to dry rot and crack.

Greg Poole How did Hugh Durham pitch UGA to Wilkins? Kirby is spot on when he explains to these guys how bagging the big one will punch those guys tickets to paradise ( in Georgia anyway) the rest of their life.

Greg Poole Jesse1 That aspect of the program, PR, has never been filled capably imo. The Jan Kemp episode to today, UGA always sends a guy to the mic, who after fumbling with his notes, and stuttering about for a few moments heads back to the comfy confines of 1 Selig Circle the public has no access to lol.

Greg Poole Get him quick. Brunswick is loaded with athletes. Went 3-7 last year. But was 20 points from being 7-3 vs a brutal South Georgia schedule. This kid knows what tough football is all about. Ware, Coffee, Camden and a slew of others put on demonstrations of tough meaner than cat dung football at least 10 times a year.

Jesse1  I don’t really give a crap about this FOI legislation, but the fact that is blown up in Kirby’s face is just another example of the complete lack of PR sensibility and Butts Mehre.

Greg Poole CBS? A penny for their thoughts and opinions. CBS games run for an eternity. More insipid commercials than any network. At least it appears that way to me.

Had to hunt up the old livefyre info.
Coach is right about putting 93,000 in Sanford and the very strong signal to prospects that no fanbase, school, program anywhere cares and loves their team more than we do. Should be epic. Smile Dawgs, it’s going to be like having a birthday in April.

MidtownTeacher  I apologise for the issues. BZ had some great ideas but just never got over the hump with implementation. Welcome back.

Morning everyone.  I stopped visiting this site because with burnzone it was so freakin slow it took forever to load new comments.  I am so happy that we are back with livefyre and will probably be coming here more often now.
