University of Georgia’s new head football Coach Kirby Smart was made available to the media today at 11 AM this morning, and he led off the press conference by stating “It’s great to be home.” Coach Smart covered building depth on the offensive and defensive line as well as getting tougher, bigger and stronger and building the support staff. He also talked about a standard of excellence and expectations, touched on UGA’s drug and alcohol policy, recruiting and Johnathan Abram transferring.
