Georgia ranked second in the league with 10 representatives on the Preseason Coaches All-Southeastern Conference Football Team, according to an SEC announcement on Thursday.
First Team Defense selections junior defensive lineman Jordan Davis and senior Richard LeCounte highlighted the group of Bulldogs. Junior center Trey Hill, sophomore receiver George Pickens, senior defensive lineman Malik Herring, senior linebacker Monty Rice, sophomore linebacker Nakobe Dean, junior defensive back Eric Stokes and junior punter Jake Camarda were included on the Second Team. In addition, sophomore linebacker Nolan Smith was named to the Third Team.
The Bulldogs, who are ranked fourth in the preseason AP poll and Coaches Poll, are set to open the year in Fayetteville, Ark., versus Arkansas on Sept. 26. The SEC Network will televise the matchup at 4 p.m. ET.
