UGA men’s basketball player Tye Fagan talks about the Bulldogs’ upcoming road game versus the Memphis Tigers.
On how Georgia prepares for the stretch of key matchups coming up…
“Every day matters. We have to take everything seriously at practice. If we’re doing it at practice, it matters. That’s what Coach Crean tells us all the time. We’ll go to practice and try to stay locked in. We focus on what’s on task that day in practice, going towards every game. We focus on what the strong suits are of the team we’re playing and prepare mentally and physically.”
On ways he’s seen the “locked in” mentality pay off in games for Georgia…
“It paid off in a couple of tough games where we were able to pull it out in the end because of things we go through in practice and because of the situational things we practice. It comes from the way we practice and believe in each other.”
