UGA graduate student-athlete and men’s basketball player Donnell Greshman, Jr. shares his thoughts on the Hoop Dawgs game versus Auburn which is set for a Noon start on Saturday.

On getting a chance at beating another highly ranked team…

“I think the loss to Kentucky, I know we felt that a bit but because we controlled the game for the majority of it. I think we learned a lot, we have to play for the whole 40 minutes and stay together. We’re excited that we get to play another game because it’s Auburn, they haven’t lost yet and we want to be the first team to beat them this year.”

On what he expects the atmosphere in Auburn to be like…

“I hear Auburn is a pretty loud place. It’ll be one of the loudest gyms we’ve played in all year. I’m looking forward to their fans getting after us and they’re relentless so I’m sure they’ll have a lot of fans out.”

On the message to the young guys to get them prepared for another big SEC matchup…

“Just don’t go down when the other team makes a run because they will make a run. Stay together and encourage each other throughout the whole game.”
