Every year it seems like the list of camps for high school football players and prospective college student-athletes gets larger and larger, but one of the bigger names and bigger camps is Nike Football The Opening. Each year Nike holds regional camps across the country for players to compete in and are given the opportunity to perform and show what they can do. Top performers are invited to participate and compete in the Nike Football The Opening Finals. On Sunday, a number of UGA targets, offers and prospects for the class of 2017 participated in the Nike Football The Opening Atlanta Regional at Buford High School.
A number of those earned MVP honors and several earned a trip to The Opening Finals, which will be held in July at Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon from July 5-10. Here is a list of those participants that are 2017 Georgia commits, offers, or targets:
