NEWS & NOTES: So who is Max Brosmer? The junior quarterback out of Centennial High School is the Peach State’s fourth-leading passer in terms of yardage for 2017 with 3,750 through 10 regular season games and 2 playoff games, which is also good for the 15th most in the nation for Class of 2019 QBs. Brosmer has thrown for 30 touchdowns to 11 interceptions, but he is a more accurate passer than his TD-to-INT ratio indicates having complete 73.6 % of his 314 pass attempts. This is his first season as the full-time starter for Centennial and as he camps during the offseason and more coaches get to see Max, expect the offers to start to flow his way.

Brosmer guided Centennial to 7-3 record regular season record in Georgia’s Region 7 in Class 6A and to a second round of the playoffs where the Knights lost a close one to Mays, 48-41 this past weekend. Max was spectacular in the playoff loss going 36-of-45 for 450 yards, 6 touchdowns to 2 interceptions. He also rushed the ball 10 times for 45 yards.
