    What’s the latest on TL? Seems like I read around the 8-10 of August to announce. Is that the latest?

    dawgmum  And if you honestly believe that Nick Saban and his staff of 1500 somehow just happened to forget about this young mans request, then I’ve got some great ocean front property in Arizona!   

    Don’t believe this story they are pedaling one bit…  This man is a control freak and has people in charge of changing cleats on the Alabama sidelines based on field turf conditions during the game.  No way it went totally unreported or slipped thru the cracks!

    nolabigdawg supposedly didnt show up to meetings, didnt practice hard, wasn’t going to class, and was an overall baby

    Score Check Greg Poole According to some reports I saw other places, it doesn’t appear to be serious and was reported that he went back into drills and practice.  Jammed a wrist or hand was the best guess.

    DawgByte MMCSDAWG Greg Poole Me too Byte!  Gonna require a lot more man or man over coverages but to me it is worth the risk and I believe we have a few that can cover in man on our roster.  It will be very interesting to see how our defensive style changes and evolves over this upcoming season!

    I think part if not most of the reason that CKS keeps barking about the defense underperforming is because he’s a DC at heart

    MMCSDAWG Greg Poole Putting pressure on QB’s was one of the weak links of our D last year. I hope we can reverse that this year.

    Greg Poole I watched the Ole Miss vs. Arky game replay on SEC network last night.  Pressure will be the key for stopping Ole miss.  Put pressure in his face and contain the running. He is not the most accurate passer in CFB and he will definitely throw one up for grabs when he’s pressured.  We will know a lot by the time we play them, if our defense is tough, I like our chances.

    ronaldo77 Can’t wait to see what he can do!!! I would be shocked if he doesn’t get carries against UNC. Would love to see him come in late in the 3rd Qtr. when we’ve had an opportunity to pound on the Tar Heels for awhile.

    DawgByte  You must understand that some of that is coachspeak but, yeah, they need to improve. This is not your feel good pat-em-on-the-back coaching staff.

    DawgByte Greg Poole Again, my biggest concern!  Not who starts at QB, it’s can we stop people on defense and most importantly, control the LOS and put pressure on the opposing QB!

    Greg Poole One thing that has consistently come from the mouth of CKS is his disappointment in the defense. He said it again yesterday.  Lets hope they can get it together!

    Greg Poole I thought it was going to be a real race.  I would love to see all our QBs line up at one end zone and race to the the other.
