DawgDaddy AlphaDawg I hope that’s something you never have to see. Oh, your eyes, your eyes!!

  2. Bulldawg Bob2

Tuesday and Wednesday. And that was through 3rd parties. TL isn’t talking too much atm.

  3. Greg Poole

1mandawgpack I understand your thought process, but Chubb would not consider that as a reward. In fact, most players are unenthusiastic, at best, about media appearances.

  4. 1mandawgpack

Greg Poole  I agree with your conclusion.  However, I also bet some of it was a “reward” from CKS resulting from Chubb’s work ethic to demonstrate to the rest of the team that good things come from hard work.  I’ve come to the realization that virtually everything that CKS does has an underlying purpose intending to benefit the program.

Doc R Greg Poole MMCSDAWG Exactly,  I commented last night after Greg and Michael posted the initial video, no matter how they asked him he would not comment on his chances or probability of starting against UNC!  Keep them guessing!

  6. Doc R

Greg Poole MMCSDAWG Plus, Nick is smart, so I’m sure he was prepped for how to handle all the “injury” questions

  7. DawgLink

Sure has been a good trait lately to be a shy RB at UGA. The last one got drafted 8th overall after having ACL surgery

  8. Greg Poole

MMCSDAWG Good points. Chubb is shy also. The familiar faces probably helped him relax a bit.

Man, it rained a lot sometime early this morning up here too. Thunder shower woke me up a couple of times shaking the windows with the year old thunder clap.

Agreed. TL needs to understand that his arm will make the money and not his legs in a spread attack. He needs to look at all the dual threat QBs that got drafted about 4 years ago. Most are gone from the league now

  11. Bulldawg Bob2

Agree Alpha and Greg. Very rare for coaches and school to let media talk to injured players., If memory serves me correctly.

  12. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole Doing it like they did was a “SMART” move by our staff IMO!   Not announcing it, which keeps it from being a media circus and just surprising you hard working daily beat guys was masterful!  If they had announced that Chubb was coming out, it would have been a circus!  Much more personal and you could hear the questions and answers very clearly in the video!

  13. MMCSDAWG

tmdawg12  MMCSDAWG dawgmum What’s nick’s Salary up to these days??  About 1/2 that should do ###

  14. AlphaDawg

Greg Poole Good. No unreal expectations for our 1st year coach to overcome. Let UT take the fall this year.

Not much new news. He still has Georgia and Clemson as his top two schools. Last check, the Dawgs had the lead over the Tigers.
It was originally thought Lawrence would announce around August 1st ot this week, but he pushed it back. That is not uncommon though.

  17. AlphaDawg

DawgLink Last I heard he was still very much 50/50. His season starts Aug 19 so if he’s still sticking to the announcing before his season so he can focus on that, then he still has a little time. The longer he waits the worse for UGA. I think Clemson is urging him to wait out to see how Chaney would use him. UGA is the better fit and they know that, but they are probably hoping UGA stumbles in the opener so they’ve got some backing to their recruiting.

At this point if he doesn’t commit to us then I’m gonna check myself in to a insane asylum
