Bulldawg Bob2 to your point, of the 11 on the roster I have listed as a DL, 10 of the 11 are either freshman or sophomore, with Atkins being the only exception as a junior.
I’d have to look at my notes but I am away from my computer at the moment.
But the d-line class is not going to be as good as it was in 2015 or 2016.
I thing Tennessee has a very talented 2016 team with experienceto boot. But can Butch and company get them to Atlanta in November?
Alabama has to release him before he can transfer to UGA. If they do, he can attend Georgia academically bit is not eligible to play football for a year under the grad transfer rules of the SEC.
GaSoldier If they had a better coach they would be pretty darn scary, they do return quite a bit of experience, but Sgt. Carter is a joke

Bulldawg Bob2 I dono Bob, Im not sure how many offers are out there but if you dont count Beal as a DL, the only other person I see that we have a high interest in is Herring. And some people on here have said even he is more of a LB. I dont think he is but still, if we have other major targets out there I dont know who they are.

UGA is recruiting d-line pretty aggressively. Georgia has a number of offers and targets for 2017 d-linemen, but not a lot of commits thus far.
Keep in mind that the majority of d-linemen on the roster are freshmen and sophomores.
WillieWalden guessing one reason is the limited number of options in this class and another is we dont have a single DL on our roster that is a senior. so maybe they just think the other positions are a higher priority.
I’m surprised too, I would hope we sent a coach out to every top 10 DT
Why aren’t we recruiting the d line more heavily this’ year? I know in state may be alittle down this year but it doesn’t seem like we’re pursuing any of the top d lineman in the southeast …
Bulldawg Bob2 Eason is displaying a little bit of shoulder tilt on his intermediate throws in this clip. Very encouraging sign. Any amount of tilt is progress. Shoulder tilt will naturally raise his release point without messing up anything else. It will also allow him to finish around rather than bending straight forward at the waist. Hope he keeps it up.

DawgByte Bulldawg Bob2 Yep. Even if Bama releases him to transfer to UGA, he would still have to get a waiver from the SEC to be eligible to play in 2016, which, the SEC office initially have not granted to Smith. He can appeal though.
