RumRunnerDoogie Has the Australian team gotten to move into their Olympic dorm yet or were they still working to get it ready?

  2. RumRunnerDoogie

Bulldawg Bob2 RumRunnerDoogie well its to be expected awarding it to a 3rd world country really

  3. Bulldawg Bob2

RumRunnerDoogie I know right. Scary some of the stuff I’ve been reading and watching.

But hopefully, for everyone involved, it will go off without a hitch.

  4. RumRunnerDoogie

Bulldawg Bob2 i will but if the news out of Rio is any indication it will probably be a train wreck

  5. revtizzy

Bulldawg Bob2 Probably will watch some, if we are home from a Back to School bash at the kids’ school.  I’ve always liked the spectacle of the opening ceremonies.

  6. Bulldawg Bob2

Off topic of Georgia football, but how many of you are going to watch the opening ceremonies of the Summer Olympics on Friday night?

  7. Bulldawg Bob2

@freddawg  Thank you very much Fred, and we look forward to seeing you around. Have a good night, and Go Dawgs! 🙂

  8. freddawg

Well, scanning the board it looks like you still have a good group of posters, and some excellent coverage from ec and your team.  I’ll try to be around more.   You guys have a good night.

dsw61 He does look good  in practice. Question is, whether or not he can keep up that discipline during a game, especially when he is tired. If he can, the future is bright.

  10. Bulldawg Bob2

GaSoldier  Might be, if one of the Vol’s losses is to UGA. I don’t think Georgia will lose more than 2 SEC games, but I could be wrong of course.

  11. freddawg

Thanks RumRunner.  I figured he’d still be around stirring things up from time to time.

Hey MMCS,  long time no see.  Definitely ready for football.   Lot’s of questions, but not much pressure since expectations are low.

RobDawg  Not maybe, that is the reason, These caps have been around for a few years. I have read and posted about them in the past.

  14. RobDawg

I’m seriously wondering if it’s a unity brotherhood badge of honor thing or even that it HAS to add even a bit of extra weight to condition them a bit more while wearing. I don’t put much stock in those things preventing concussion in a OL drill situation

  15. Greg Poole

RobDawg  It is a very good idea. Think about the way modern defensive line play. It is all about those swinging arm hitting OL in the head repeatedly. Look at the rip techniques DL’s and think about the congestion across the LOS. The caps are about repeated sub-concussive events, which are more dangerous than actually getting knocked unconscious.

  16. Bulldawg Bob2

Isn’t he the coach that would make players go get him a leaf off one of the trees near the practice fields when the screwed up in practice last year.

  17. RobDawg

Greg are you getting any sense why the OL are wearing the padding and the other units aren’t?

  18. Greg Poole

haws1178  You’ll love Saturday if you get to go. They will tone down the language, I’m sure.

  19. RobDawg

I guarantee any of us can perform better than this clown. He’s missed FG chip shots too. Vat half the studio Canadian version of Jimmy Johnson and Terry Bradshaw say this guy should be cut immediately

  20. Bulldawg Bob2

Those are the same Vol fans that live in denial that the Tennessee turf is so bad that it has caused injuries to not only opponents but some of their players as well.
