RumRunnerDoogie Hobnailboot aka RobG haws1178 GaSoldier I remember that. That was misleading we were actually playing 4 guards because we had no tackles good enough to play

  2. haws1178

Hobnailboot aka RobG haws1178 GaSoldier this S&C staff is not playing around looks like everybody is bulked up.

  3. RumRunnerDoogie

Hobnailboot aka RobG haws1178 GaSoldier im still hesitant to get too excited about size after the whole “biggest OL in all of football” season

  4. Hobnailboot aka RobG

haws1178 Hobnailboot aka RobG GaSoldier you can tell the difference in philosophy this year from last, guys look like gladiators this year

dirtydawgs  He is a class of 2018 prospect. It isn’t a big deal if he pushes back his commitment or waits.

Georgia still has the lead over Clemson ATM, but the Tigers are definitely pushing for him hard. I don’t think he is postponing his commitment because of Dabo or Clemson though.

It is very possible he waits till after his junior high school football season is over to commit. A lot of prospects want to focus on their high school team and school right now.

when you wake up in the morning there will only be 3 saturdays left between you and kickoff!!!

  7. Bulldawg Bob2

DawgLink  Haha. Yep. And he is one of those runners that is hard for defenders to see when he gets behind those big hog mollies on the o-line.

Yesterday,  the morning crew had a conversation on Trevor Lawrence on when he was going to announce and why he pushed back his initial plans to announce.

I don’t he pushed back his announcement because Clemson told him to or another school for that matter. This time of year, these prospects are concentrating on getting ready for their high school football season and the start of school; so, it is not uncommon for them to push back their announcement dates and times.

I still think Georgia has the slight lead as far as his recruitment goes, but Clemson is right up there. Those are still his top two schools.

Keep in mind that 2018 is still a long way off as well.

JaxDawg could be good since the “experts” have said he has recently favored bama. Since they are cousins i think it adds another dynamic

  10. JaxDawg

Yea that’s good, I really want swift in this class! I start freaking out when I see someone change things up

  11. Bulldawg Bob2

JaxDawg  That is a good question JaxDawg. I don’t think it would affect D’Andre Swift.

This time of year and during school it is not uncommon for prospects to change their announcement dates and times.

RobDawg  Totally agree Rob. I have read there have been concerns over even the quality of the water in the pools and even water from the tap for drinking and washing, which just boggles my mind.

  13. Bulldawg Bob2

1mandawgpack Yep. In fact, this Sunday, August 7th is the Hall of Game preseason game between Green Bay and Indy at 8 PM on ESPN.

Then they’ll start on Thursday August 11th with a slew of them including the Falcons vs. Washington

Agreed about the natural water for outdoor water events but in a pool with resources that an olympics puts on is inexcusable. Anyone who has ever owned a pool knows the chemistry can get away from you in a hurry but the Olympics pool maint guy has one job right now…. Just sayin

Bulldawg Bob2 1mandawgpack  ‘Tis almost the grandest time of year – football season.  I believe that there are some NFL pre-season games next week.

  16. DawgDaddy

DawgByte you would think his dad would have used something else as a pre-race ritual when this started.

FYI for those who may be interested.  I received a call from my buddy last night who works for the Chick-fil-a Peach Bowl and he told me he had my UGA/UNC tickets in hand and I could pick them up any time.  So, they have printed and should be going out soon.  Since I got mine directly from my buddy (as I don’t have season tickets since I moved around so much for about 10 years), I have no idea how the school will handle distribution for those of you who ordered directly from UGA.
