Greg is closing in on 15 years writing about and photographing UGA sports. While often wrong and/or out of focus, it has been a long, strange trip full of fun and new friends.

AlphaDawg Then Woody was like it’s easy to criticize rankings when you don’t do them. IT ended up with Woody blocking dude haha. Guy screenshotted it and said this is what the 4th is about lol

  2. Lucas Rogers

AlphaDawg Lucas Rogers Speaking of BR did you see where woody and a bleach report dude got into it

  3. AlphaDawg

BahitsDawg Greg Poole RobDawg Yeah it was 95 yards the wrong direction to the DB

  4. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole BahitsDawg My mistake.  It was a 98 yard TD.

“Aaron Davis produces the defensive play of the game, a 98-yard interception return. And it took awhile: Davis picked off a Greyson Lambert pass near the left sideline, then ended up running down the opposite sideline, out-running Lambert himself near midfield.”

ajc… ” just riding an ATV at a reasonable speed, hit a bump he wasn’t expecting and fell off.
Snap! Broken left forearm. And just like that, Georgia’s early-season outlook was muddled.”

it could have been a lot worse.  I feel bad for the young man, but I am happy he didn’t get hurt worse.   We sure do take a lot of risks having fun and living.

I’m one of those jersey number nerds…

Is there a list of the new numbers for the freshman out there (besides the EE’s)? I checked Georgiadogs and they aren’t on there yet.

RobDawg I am still going with Eason as the starter and we can definitely put more emphasis on him.

  8. Bansai buckeroo

@Link…the cast part has me concerned because of ball security….am I wrong?

  9. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole RobDawg Didn’t Lambert throw a 95 yard touchdown in the spring game?

  10. Greg Poole

Reddawg13 His film looks good. I’m looking forward to seeing him in pads in August.

  11. Greg Poole

RobDawg  “whether the QB spot can get prepared to be on all cylinders by the first game”
What that means is – “Can the staff have Eason ready?” >>> We’ll see.

  12. Greg Poole

RobDawg  UGA is screwed if the QB just hands off. No offensive coordinator can make that work in today CFB. That is one of the biggest reason that I do not think Lambert will start against UNC.

If UGA can not make defenses respect the pass and cover the field, ikt will be a long year. Look back to the Bama game last year. UGA had Chubb and Michel and was stopped cold.

  13. RobDawg

Don’t get me wrong I am not saying sky is falling but it does seem to put lot more focus on whether the QB spot can get prepared to be on all cylinders by the first game.

  14. RobDawg

What I mean is that I presumed Lambert would start and game plan would be to have probably a run heavy look to it and be able to manage us through the game. But with potential top two TBs not 100% then the balance may have to shift more to plays where QB doesn’t just hand off.

  15. Greg Poole

Reddawg13 If you mean because of the IMG connection – doubt it. Beal transferred there after Nauta left.

  16. Greg Poole

RobDawg  I don’t really get that. Not disagreeing but QBs don’t call plays anymore. Chaney will design the plan around his players and I’m not sure that Sony changes that much. BTW, I do not see him missing the game or being particularly limited.

  17. RobDawg

I don’t disagree with that but I feel this puts more pressure on whoever the QB will be in that game to have more of a role in that game

  18. AlphaDawg

IF Beal commits to the Dawgs today, UGA will move up to 3rd nationally in the 247 recruiting rankings (assuming all other teams do not also get commits today)

  19. Greg Poole

Those of you who are stroking your worry beads, don’t forget about Shaq Wilson. I thought he looked pretty good after the move from wide receiver and Tae Crowder has had a lot of reps.
