RobDawg not at all too soon, If I was there and some one had told him to break a leg I would have told him “we didn’t mean literally” geez

  2. RobDawg

So do you think the other men gymnasts give each other the same encouragement that actors do before going on stage? If so the French dude took it way too literal. Too soon to make a joke?

Ok questions for Greg and Michael and anyone else that was there today :
Who was biggest surprise today and why?
Did our QBs take more snaps under center or shot gun?
    How were the shotgun snaps?
Did the WRs look to have depth and do look ok at that spot?

dawgmum dentaldawg There was dawgmum. Got a lot of old, angry crap out of my system today. That God I got the chance.

  5. dawgmum

dentaldawg You really had a day. I’m so sorry for your loss, but hope there was healing as well.

Uhoh, don’t tell me we will have a visor throwing episode on Red & Black sidelines. Don’t know that I could get used to that

  7. dentaldawg

Glad to hear about how good our dawgs looked today.

Sad day for me. Helped bury an old HS teammate who died suddenly at 58. Our old coach, who is now an ordained minister, gave a moving eulogy. Lots of us old farts crying.
Afterwards, we all gathered together to remember old times. Coach apologized to all of us for the way he treated us as players; the way he ranks and worked us. He said if a coach did that today, he would wind up in prison. I think he is right about that.
Hated him when I was playing for him. Took me several years to appreciate that he made me a better man. Today was the first time I had seen him in over 30 years. Hugged him, cried like a baby, and told him I loved him and Thanks.

Sorry, just needed to get that off my chest. Please pray for my friends family. He left a young daughter behind.

Bulldawg Bob2  I think Patrick is fine.I commented above that he had no obvious pain or limp
I’m telling you on that when they sent out Chubb to talk to the media earlier in the week that meant he is playing against North Carolina

Some people on message boards are so dead set against Lambert that it seems to shade their thinking.  I wasn’t impressed last season either, but all of our qb’s struggled in that offense, and Lambert didn’t arrive until mid summer 2015.  I’m sure Chaney is keeping an open mind and more than one will get a chance win or lose the job at gametime.

Did skinny look confused ever during 11on11? How was his command at the line? I’m sore there weren’t audibles, but just curious how comfortable he looked.

Greg, people were glad to see Chubb out here of course, and imny were happy to see Ledbetter dressed out.
Lot of folks impressed with Holyfield.
Lot of joking around about the no pics, no vids and no Tweets.
Several wondered if Natrez Patrick is OK. He went to the sideline and looked a little gimpy.

DawgLink  It is a very vocal staff. Pittman may be the quietest coach – but he just goes off like a firecracker – then he is back in teaching mode

  13. Greg Poole

DawgLink Again, that is no unusual. I soory you guys can’t get close enough to hear Rocker. He is the best.

  14. DawgLink

I noticed Chubb only took about 1/3 of the snaps as 22 and Holy Field. Notice the spelling. I thought Holy *^%# when he got the ball

  15. Greg Poole

DawgLink  Jim Chaney is not afraid to put in place for the personnel he has on hand. It would not shock me if he did that. I’m convinced you’ll see 3 tight ends relatively frequently.

  16. DawgLink

I would love to have a play with both IM and MH on the field at the same time. Both fast as cat crap
