Greg Poole I love a hands on, high energy HC that makes corrections right when they happen, whether in a game or practice! College players are still kids and respond well to it, Pros not so much. We will see great results from having Kirby as our HC!

Off topic but did anyone see the video of Derrick Brown getting that tailed chewed out? I laughed pretty good

Greg Poole Michael is really talented, very enjoyable to read, I like the way he was able to talk about Ledbetter and to do so in a mature positive manner–we are all pulling for him.

dsw61  fans get to see Tyler Simmons make a few grabs yesterday. That was a good call on your part.

Reddawg13 I agree, once a kid graduates he should have a choice or there should be no rule in place for the lucky vs the unlucky in this type case.

dsw61 I agree, when I saw KD on TV I noticed that he was prone to take a lot of plays off.   I don’t like that almost as much as I don’t like the hot dog type player,  not saying that I thought KD to be a hot dog.

Just a reminder that last year during Kyle Davis’ recruitment, I said I preferred Tyler Simmons over Davis. I watched both play in HS…entire games, not just HUDL highlight video…and IMO Simmons was the better receiver. I said last year that Simmons has track type speed and was very stout for a WR. He reminded me more of a RB with WR speed. McEachern actually used him a lot in the WIldcat, especially inside the opponents five yard line. Davis’ hype was almost entirely due to his impressive physique. He was a HS kid with a college physique. He never had elite speed though and his catching ability was just okay.

Can someone paraphrase what Tucker and Chaney said in their interview? My home wifi out in the country is to slow to play it, lol.

Greg Poole I think once a kid graduates and wants to go to another school the coach should have no say in where he goes. The NCAA has so many useless rules that are of no importance it is time they establish some that mean something and actually help!
