RobDawg lotta medals up for grabs in the pool tonight
RobDawg Those turf guys need not worry, UT will hire them for sure
I saw some photos. Not only that but the rubber pellets that fill in between turf fibers were above level of the “grass” in a lot of areas. Those field maintenance people prob need to get resumes ready. What sux is the guys trying to make roster have one less chance now
Five Most Impressive Players through the First Week of Fall Camp from Dan Matthews at GridIron Now:
“Freshman RB Elijah Holyfield: The son of former heavyweight champion boxer Evander Holyfield has been making the most of his early opportunities to impress the coaches at Georgia. The younger Holyfield, who at 5-foot-11 and 215 pounds does not physically look like a freshman, has shown on more than one occasion already, that he has shown that he can be both effective running between the tackles and in the open field. http://gridironnow.com/kirby-smart-jonathan-ledbetter-sony-michel/ and Nick Chubb still working his way back to full strength from one, Holyfield could be in line for some early playing time as a valuable reserve running back.”

RumRunnerDoogie Bulldawg Bob2 RobDawg I think that is the first time I have heard of field paint turning into a congealed tarry substance.
What the heck?
RobDawg the one game of the year I wish was at 12
Yeah that will be butterflies in stomach day
Bulldawg Bob2 RobDawg well dang
Bulldawg Bob2 I’ll be glad when it’s Sony’s jersey until gameday
Class of 2019 OT commit to Georgia, Luke Griffin, was visiting UGA yesterday for Fan Day.
RobDawg https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/762422471144251392
RobDawg LOL. That is the joke going around on Twitter. Game was supposed to be played at Benson Stadium in Canton, Ohio.
https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/762417837147164672
Yes exactly same thing happened
RobDawg Dag nab it.
RobDawg She must have had nothing left in the tank. That happened in the men’s race yesterday. There were three in the lead pack and two wrecked, leaving the rider from Poland in the lead. It didn’t look like he would get caught because he had such a big lead, but he just didn’t have anything left with just about 1 to 1.5 km to go.
Where was it being held Knoxville?
Looks like they are cancelling tonight’s Hall of Fame preseason game due to a field paint issue that apparently has left the paint congealed. It apparently would be like running on sticky tar.
Williams sisters just lost double match. Boom
Our rider then took the lead and rode in first for like 7 kilometers only to get caught 200 m to go. Devastating

RobDawg Man. Tough day. I did see where the women’s bicyclist leader took a tumble end over end on her handlebars per tmdawg12 ‘s post. Hope she is OK.
Men’s volleyball lost to Canada, women bicicle rider got caught and passed by three riders about 200 meters to go, just hadn’t bounced our way today.
RobDawg I know right? If only UGA had decided to build one of those new fangled facilities where weather doesn’t affect practice … oh wait …..
check this out. Love it!
https://twitter.com/KirbySmartUGA/status/762412514294558720
We should probably think about an indoor practice facility soon
Speaking of practice next week. They are calling for a good chance of afternoon t-showers and t-storms for most of the week. Hopefully, it won’t affect practice too much for the Dawgs.
PTCDawg Aye. Maybe Niebuhr talked with Webb and he was told something that made him confident in putting in the CB for him. Hard to say though.
In case you haven’t heard or missed it, Mecole Hardman had two blocked FGs in yesterday’s open practice towards the end of the session. Here is an article from Jason Butt over at the Macon Telegraph on it:
“Hardman burst through the line of scrimmage for two blocked field goals in Saturday’s open practice. It wouldn’t have mattered who the place-kicker was because he was in the backfield quick and in front of both William Ham and Jacob Eason, who was holding the attempt.”

RobDawg I haven’t watched hardly any of the Olympics today because I was at a birthday party.
converted 1981 Happy anniversary to you!
WTH the USA athletes are not having the greatest day today. Even the Williams sisters are struggling
Back at you. Both celebrating 40 yeras.
converted 1981 Happy Anniversary!
Not Greg, but Kimbrough is still very much in the thick of the competition to win a start at one of the ILB spots. It’s a very heated competition between all 4 of the guys vying for 2 spots.
Regardless of who wins the starting spots, all 4 guys will play when it comes R. Carter, Kimbrough, Patrick and Roquan.
Thanks
Thanks Greg.
Yeah. The bugs are bad this year.
PAtrick and Kimrough or Carter
Given his recent announcement I am surprised we just got a CB for Webb from Niebuhr.
They have not said but I guess it will be Saturday.
Greg Poole Do you have a feel for who will be starting at ILB’er on September 3rd? At one point I thought Kimbrough would be a starter this year, but I haven’t heard his name much lately.
Bulldawg Bob2 drinking, getting ate up by mosquitoes at Scuffletown Park. Damn rain this year is killing us with the bugs….
When is the first scrimmage Greg?

This will be a big week for the competitions in fall camp. They will test some guys during the week.

Late in the summer I usually watch replays from last season college games. I rarely watch Georgia’s losses though, rather look at other teams’ games.
So, what is everybody up to?
Adding my kudos to Jim Furyk!! There’s a mark that’s likely to stand for a LONG time!
