NEWS & NOTES: Michael Magda plays at OG and at FB for Lanier High School; so, blocking is not new to him. He’ll also line up at MLB on defense. And he has that nasty, ‘crazy’ streak you like to see in a FB (or a MLB) where he looks to put his hat on a player at full speed no matter who is in his way. He is smart as a whip to boot. He could be successful at either position at the collegiate level but really like his ability at FB.

NEWS & NOTES: Kaloeb Whisenant plays a number of different positions for Woodlawn that include at FB on offense and at DT and MLB on defense. At 6 foot 0, and 250 lbs, he would be an ideal body type for an SEC full back. Kaloeb visited Georgia for the Bulldogs game versus Missouri on Oct. 14th.

NEWS & NOTES: Malik Mango is the quintessential football player. He lines up at FB on offense and at MLB on defense for Pelham High School, and he also runs varsity track and is on the varsity wrestling team. Mango is strong as an ox, has quick feet, and looks to deliver a blow whether he is toting the rock or blocking at FB or defending the middle of Pelham’s defense. Malik is a heck of a linebacker, who has a nose for the football, but really like his ability at FB.
