ADAM ANDERSON
CLASS: 2018
POSITION: No. 2 OLB
HT, WT: 6 foot 4.5, and 214 lbs
SCHOOL: Rome High School
CITY, STATE: Rome, GA
STATUS: Undeclared.
UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 02/20/2016
# OFFERS: 6
NEWS & NOTES: Anderson was offered by Georgia in February of last year. He had been committed to UGA at one point, but de-committed from the Bulldogs on April 22nd and on the same day, he committed to LSU. But he then de-committed from the Tigers on July 6th. After he reopened up his recruitment, Anderson took a lot of visits at the end of July, including one to UGA back on July 21st after Tennessee on July 20th. Anderson also visited Alabama on July 22nd, then Clemson on the 24th, and Auburn on July 30th. Right now, Anderson is a big Dawg lean, but he has not set a timetable to announce his decision. The Rome LB/DE was back in Athens for the Dawgs’ game against Mississippi State on Sept. 23rd.
Anderson and Rome defeated Justin Fields and Harrison 33-21 on August 25th in their home opener and haven’t looked back with six wins and no losses on the season so far. They will look for win No. 7 next Friday, hosting Cass. On the year, Anderson has 30 tackles, 12 tackles for losses, eight sacks, two forced fumbles, and two pass breakups (his stats do not include Rome’s Friday night, 42-13, win over Hiram) and is up for the Player of the Year award.

RICHARD JIBUNOR
CLASS: 2018
POSITION: LB – No. 14 athlete
HT, WT: 6 foot 3, and 206 lbs
SCHOOL: Athens Christian High School Athens, GA
CITY, STATE: Athens, GA
STATUS: Undeclared
UGA OFFER: No
# OFFERS: 18
NEWS & NOTES: Jibunor goes to school just up the road from UGA at Athens Christian and is a very talented athlete. There is some question to what his best position is at the college level and it most likely will depend on the system he plays in. On defense, Jibunor is a hybrid linebacker/safety type player very much like Lee County’s Otis Reese, but on offense, he is a tough matchup due to his size and length of his frame. Jibunor doesn’t hold an offer from UGA but did visit Georgia for the Mississippi State on Sept. 23rd.
After starting out with a 28-13 win over Monticello in their season opener, Jibunor and Athens Christian have had a tough go of it and are 2-4 on the year after losing to George Walton Academy, 25-13, Friday night. Athens Christian is on the road at Hiawassee, GA next weeked to face (2-4) Towns County.

OTIS REESE
CLASS: 2018
POSITION: LB – No. 9 OLB
HT, WT: 6 foot 4, and 206 lbs
SCHOOL: Lee County High School
CITY, STATE: Leesburg, GA
STATUS: Committed to Michigan 06/18/2016
UGA OFFER: Yes, offerred on 12/07/2016
# OFFERS: 17
NEWS & NOTES: Reese offered back at the end of last year in December. He visited Georgia in the spring in March and was back in Athens for the Bulldogs’ season opener vs. Appalachian State on Sept. 2nd. Reese has been committed to Michigan for over a year, but I’ve put him on flip watch. He would be a big-time flip for Georgia, too, as the talented Lee County football player is very much in the mold of current UGA linebacker Roquan Smith and former backers/safeties, Thomas Davis and Alec Ogletree.
Reese and Lee County were off this weekend but are rolling through their schedule so far, at 7-0, and ranked No. 1 in Class 6A. They’ll put their undefeated season on the line this coming Friday when they host (6-1) and No. 5 Class 6A Northside-Warner Robins on Oct. 13th.

CHANNING TINDALL
CLASS: 2018
POSITION: LB – No. 5 OLB
HT, WT: 6 foot 2, and 213 lbs
SCHOOL: Spring Valley High School
CITY, STATE: Columbia, SC
STATUS: Undeclared
UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 02/11/2017.
# OFFERS: 19
NEWS & NOTES: Tindall was offered back in February and visited UGA for G-Day on April 22nd. He returned to Athens, GA on the weekend of July 15th for “Kirby-Que.” Like Colquitt County’s JJ Peterson, Tindall could play either outside or inside linebacker. So what are Tindall’s top schools? He hasn’t released a list, but if you follow the visits, in addition to UGA, he took unofficials to Florida, FSU, and South Carolina during the latter part of July. A number of analysts believe it is a FSU-USCe battle for Tindall, but I think his recruiting is more wide open than just those two programs. He was in Athens again for Georgia’s game vs. Mississippi State on Sept. 23rd.
