It’d be interesting to see our hit % with who we get out of the top 247 prospects who official, compare it to other top programs and then see how that % changes in the future. Hopefully it increases! Lol

  2. PTCDawg

Bansai buckeroo Hey Bansai. As a Delta IT person I am very sorry for what you and everyone else had to go through. Its crazy what the impact of something like that can be, I know it was very trying for a lot of people.

  3. JaxDawg

Yea my same thoughts. Good to be in the running with these guys. Looks like Michigan or Alabama race

  4. Greg Poole

I don’t know the height but there is no way most punt would not hit the ceiling. I think you are right about placekicks too.

  5. PTCDawg

Greg Poole Greg, do you happen to have the indoor height of the IPF? I am assuming it wont handle punts but place kicks should work?

  6. DawgByte

Greg Poole Bulldawg Bob2 You guys are probably right. I do know that if we lose to UNC the DawgNation will not be happy; so in that sense the pressure is on!

  7. JaxDawg

Yup! There is a chance! I wish he was coming for a game though, the football season would be good to see, not the basketball haha. He’s going to the iron bowl, I wish we could get him to a rivalry game

  8. Bulldawg Bob2

DawgByte Greg Poole  I think expectations at Georgia are higher in 2016 than they were in 2001 though.

  9. BahitsAgain

tmdawg12 Unless it was by his own activities, my old college English Professor would say it wasn’t a “tragedy”.   She ruined that word for me.

    RIP, John Saunders

  10. DawgByte

Greg Poole I believe expectations to win at Georgia will always be high. I don’t think they are any higher today than they were 5 years ago, but I could be wrong. Regarding a grace period for Kirby, I think opinions on that vary greatly. What has changed since Richt came to UGA is the sudden turnaround artists that have come into the league, which I think distorts expectations.

  11. BahitsAgain

AlphaDawg BahitsAgain Greg Poole We will have a waterfall in our locker rooms before long.  🙂

  12. BahitsAgain

Bansai buckeroo I bet they would have smoked up really well in my Davy Crockett pellet grill.  🙂

  13. AlphaDawg

BahitsAgain Greg Poole With Kirby’s high priority of recruiting focus, we will be upgrading a lot of facilities. He understands, and should help McGarity understand that having better facilities helps recruiting. I believe Pruitt’s “How serious do they take football, if” statement opened some eyes to those who thought differently.

  14. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole BahitsAgain I bet our stingy administration and McGarity would still have sat on it, if Pruitt didn’t publicly call them out on it.   And, I believe Pruitt did that with the blessing of CMR.

  15. Bansai buckeroo

No… Didn’t have the time to look into shipping them back. The Delta computer problem kept me scrambling trying to get back. Had several flights cancelled. Anyway I love fishing but not a real big fan of eating them….haha

  16. Greg Poole

BahitsAgain Not to take anything away from CMR,  But I think the IPF was more about SEC Network cash flow than anything else.

  17. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole For all the criticism the so called Dawg fan Richt haters toss at him, we wouldn’t have this fine building without him and Pruitt.  And, it was probably a piece of the puzzle to get Kirby to take the job.  It showed that UGA admin was finally willing to spend some cash.

After this week of having to work around thunderstorms, who can really argue that not having IPF is a disadvantage for your team?

    GO DAWG$$$$$!!!!

  18. Bulldawg Bob2

BD36, Malkin Parrish is only 5-10 and he is probably actually closer to 5-9, and Brandon Boykin was 5-9 as well as Asher Allen.
Tim Jennings and Prince Miller were 5-8 with cleats on

  19. Greg Poole

Who on earth would question the fact that Kirby must win big and soon? National writers act as if that is news.
The 40-year-old product of Bainbridge has an impeccable résumé. He was a defensive coordinator at Valdosta State at age 25, spent two years under Bobby Bowden at Florida State, briefly worked in the NFL, and spent the last nine seasons with Saban. He knows how Saban works, breathes, eats, and operates. He will operate in one of the most fertile recruiting areas of the country, and he will get complete, desperate support from the athletic department and http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2016/4/11/11411912/georgia-open-records-law-national-championship-what-good-lord.
    And he better win. Immediately.

BTW, here is a shot of the IPF from yesterday. It looks like all of the vertical beams are in place along the length:

  21. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole As much as these guys are throwing, I would be surprised if they didn’t have some arm soreness.

  22. BahitsAgain

DawgDaddy My dad used to love hearing Dooley and Munson talk about the other team – even if it was the Sisters of the Poor – as being a huge, insurmountable challenge.  lol

  23. Greg Poole

Here are some more Eason photos. In the first one, I was shooting Elijah Holyfield but you can see Eason and the trainer (out of focus) behind him.

  24. DawgByte

Greg Poole Good measured article and one that I agree with in terms of slow playing Eason until he’s confident and ready to lead a game from start to finish.

  25. JaxDawg

I guess having limited options left on the board isn’t the right phrase since we have Gibbs. Losing out on Stevens, AJ, and Jamyest hurts but you’re right we have a great crew if we can add Gibbs. Maybe we can get Xavier too!

  26. Bulldawg Bob2

Limited options Jax? Georgia has two very highly rated DBs in LeCounte and Poole along with another solid DB in Brini comitted. They stand a good chance of bringing in Gibbs, and at least one more DB for 5 in the class of2017.
Jamyest is a good football player and DB who plays bigger than his size, but the staff are definitely targeting taller DBs.

  27. Bulldawg Bob2

Nice big stringer of Walleyes there Bansai, and welcome back.
We’re you able to ship back your catch?

  28. Greg Poole

DawgByte Yep. I saw that. After that occurred threw the pass in my photographs in what appeared to be a warm-up period. Then he went back into the rotation with the other QBs.

  29. Bulldawg Bob2

    Morning TeeH.
But that is the big question. Walker may not play football at all and concentrate on basketball.

  30. DawgByte

Greg Poole DawgByte A trainer came out at some point during practice and was messaging Eason’s shoulder.

  31. Bulldawg36

Wish we could get AJ Terrell. But it looks like he is gonna play for the cow college with a lake

  32. Bulldawg Bob2

Or he has been throwing a lot and just has some soreness from muscle fatigue that needs a good rub down and some ice at the end of the day.
As Greg pointed out, they wouldn’t let him continue throwing if it was anything more than that.

  33. DawgByte

Greg Poole I’m not sure why you believe Chubb is questionable for the beginning of the season. None of the reports I’ve seen or his own statements would lead me to believe that Nick won’t be the starting tailback for the UNC game. I think the only question is how many carries he gets (ex. 10-15) and who will be his backup.
Regarding who will be the QB… it sounds like nobody has clearly separated themselves from the other QB’s, so we’ll be sitting on this question for a while.
