Greg Poole Warner, out of Brookwood I believe
Bulldawg Bob2 Committed to FSU, right? Any chance with him? It would be nice to get him and hie DE teammate next year
rugbydawg79 PTCDawg Bulldawg Bob2 He’s probably been harder on himself than any of us could be, I know I ain’t perfect
Bulldawg Bob2 He’s got good explosion, quickness and size. I think he’ll make a fine addition to the D!
Bulldawg Bob2 This is one of my biggest concerns going into the 2016 season. I don’t know why we can’t get this straightened out. This is highly aggravating to say the least!!! Argh.
freddawg Hobnailboot aka RobG Bulldawg Bob2 Agree, he’s a VD style type of coach. I bet he plays up lesser opponents just like Vince. Bottom line: CKS is a perfectionist! I like that in a coach.
PTCDawg Bulldawg Bob2 let it go bro — i am a fan of yours –He doesn’t need to hear that
https://www.dawgnation.com/football/smart-some-good-qb-play-in-scrimmage-but-some-boneheaded-play-too
I’m a realist and I know he fought tooth and nail to get here for a reason… No matter how it shakes we should be fine in the back end if we can generate a good rush
Bulldawg Bob2 Regarding the OL, this assessment by CKS should not come as a surprise to anyone IMO. I think this group is and will continue to be an area of concern until Pittman gets all 5 of his guys recruited and in the lineup.
Very true… I’m excited to see what that group can do..
RumRunnerDoogie WillieWalden Smith is more familiar with Kirby and Mel than the other guys so I think thats a wash
RumRunnerDoogie WillieWalden I agree with you Rummy!
WillieWalden yes and no, after all smith was a back up so guys like mcgraw and davis have more meaningful game time
Good group no matter what but I think smiths experience will be hard to beat in the end
Bulldawg Bob2 NAIA doesnt offer athletic schollys do they? not as random as it is his home town
WillieWalden i think it will be parrish and briscoe. smith and davis battling for nickle
I think the starting back end is going to be sanders and manger at safety and Parrish and smith at corner… First off the bench will be mc graw and Aaron davis
Bulldawg Bob2 also, it was our guys they were trying to tackle. so either the O looks good and we all fret about the D or the D looks good and we all fret about the O.
Bulldawg36 If you play golf, I play a Lane Creek in Watkinsville fairly often.

RumRunnerDoogie Exactly!
Bulldawg Bob2 well any team will have issues with tackling and OL in fall camp until they knock off the rust
Per conversations and concerns below:
Kirby Smart stated that the reason that RB Sony Michel didn’t have that protective wrap/cast on his left arm was because he wasn’t doing contact or tackling today. Medical staff and trainers felt comfortable clearing him to not wear it for just no-contact.
Know there are concerns over comments on offensive line and poor tackling, but first scrimmage is usually not a pretty one. Big tell-all will be between this first scrimmage and the improvement made in the next scrimmage until this team gets tested by UNC on Sept. 3rd.
Could be some growing pains with this young team, though, the first month of the season.
The fact Nick Chubb is running, participating in contact and being tackled as well as being allowed to speak to the media, I’m being Captain Obvious here, but he is definitely playing, my guess starting, against UNC.
Hobnailboot aka RobG Bulldawg Bob2 Kirby seems like a man who doesn’t dole out much praise, Vince Dooley style. I’m okay with that; players don’t get comfortable and know they have to keep working.
66DAWGnNC rugbydawg79 Greg Poole ratings got him the gig, piss off the right fan bases (auburn and bama) and they will tune in
Bulldawg Bob2 august is like the biggest tease month lol

Greg Poole That’s funny!
Kirby presser up top in the news feed. Just refresh page. There is also a post with the audio from the presser up here:

66DAWGnNC Bulldawg Bob2 DawgByte Greg Poole Bawahahahahaa. LOL
66DAWGnNC rugbydawg79 Greg Poole Unless these national guys do research or have interns do research for them, they can sometimes come off as not very knowledgeable.
Hobnailboot aka RobG later on in the presser he also said that the offensive line challenged the defense towards the end of the scrimmage.
I am not concerned. You want the mistakes to happen in the first scrimmage. The tell-all will be the progression between this scrimmage and the next one.
Bulldawg Bob2 66DAWGnNC DawgByte Greg Poole OK. Who has time to listen to an audio when we can read all the comments and look at all the pictures##. Thanks BB2.
rugbydawg79 Greg Poole Anybody hear Finebaum’s comments on SportsCenter this morning? He talked about UGA’s struggles at QB last year, noting it was inconsistent, which I agree with. Then said, if I heard correctly, that Eason would not play against UNC, but would get his feet wet later in the year. Said JE had the “potential” to be as good if not better than Stafford, “the last great qb at UGA.” I guess PF forgot about Aaron Murray. Honestly I don’t know how that guy got the ESPN gig. His radio show was terrible too.
Bulldawg Bob2 that is a little concerning
Curious to hear if there were any Javon Wims sightings today. Really hoping he doesnt go the Rumph route.
66DAWGnNC DawgByte Greg Poole Coach Smart said in the post-scrimmage presser that the reason Sony Michel did not have on the protective wrap on his left arm was because he was not getting any contact and the team doctor and training staff felt comfortable to let him go no-contact without a wrap on it.
Audio of presser up top.
Bulldawg Bob2 Oh my, I would love that too!
Hitting the rum early I see..#
DawgByte Greg Poole I’m too am surprised DawgByte. I am also concerned that a good pop or a plant to break the fall to the ground will cause more damage. Yet, I am neither a UGA coach or UGA med staff. I will trust those guys as I don’t believe they would put a player at risk. Sony wins the Thomas Davis award for being one tough dude.
PTCDawg Aye. Talking with Davis after the Tenn game, he wishes he did too. Young man felt really down about that.
Bulldawg Bob2 wish he could’ve made one more at UT last year…
RumRunnerDoogie Bulldawg Bob2 lol
Bulldawg Bob2 nick chubb actually got tackled? well put a fork in him, hes not the old chubb#
Bulldawg36 I’m wid ya, GATA Jacob!

RobDawg Yep, those are some big old hands he has too.
Bulldawg Bob2 Thanks Bob, figured it was happy or excited or something like that.
