revtizzy freddawg Bulldawg Bob2 yea i noticed that too and kind of thought it was the west, who knows its probably arkys coach still mad about pittman

  2. Bulldawg Bob2

DawgByte PTCDawg Greg Poole  Sam Madden like Pat Allen is another redshirt freshman who could push for a start later on down the road, especially after this season.

  3. freddawg

Bulldawg Bob2 Jimmy Hyams used to cover Tennessee.  I wonder if those quotes came from Butch or someone on his staff.

  4. Hobnailboot aka RobG

Bulldawg Bob2 “Kirby Smart is a very good football coach, but he needs to mature. He loses his cool when things don’t go his way.”
I think he has Kirby and Will confused

  5. Bulldawg Bob2

That was taken from this Gridiron article http://gridironnow.com/sec-coaches-anonymous-east-division-discussion/

  6. DawgByte

PTCDawg At the end of the day I just want us to win. Whoever can contribute to a W as QB is fine with me. Sure I think Eason is the most gifted of the three and is our future, but I want him to be put in the best possible situation to succeed.

  7. Bulldawg Bob2

A quote from an “anonymous” SEC coach on Coach Kirby Smart in an FREE article from 247:

“I don’t think Georgia will be as good as people think,” one coach told http://gridironnow.com/sec-coaches-anonymous-east-division-discussion/. “I don’t know how you can win with a freshman quarterback (Jacob Eason) and a first-year head coach (Kirby Smart). But in a weak division, they may capture lightning in a bottle.
“Kirby Smart is a very good football coach, but he needs to mature. He loses his cool when things don’t go his way.”

Bulldawg Bob2 PTCDawg Schotty’s offense had receivers open. For whatever reason, Lambert either didn’t see them or missed them way too often.

  9. dsw61

PTCDawg IMO it won’t be good if we get the Lambert that played in the Vandy, Bama, and Tennessee games. Could also throw in two or three other games as well.

  10. RumRunnerDoogie

Bulldawg Bob2 RumRunnerDoogie i gave up last year haha. being in the bottom 4th of the board was depressing

  11. TtownDawg

Laney is coming to the Brickyard for a anticipated non region contest against my local bulldogs, it should be a good game.

  12. Bulldawg Bob2

1Dawg under God Nope. You aren’t in the group. Go to the College Pick’em page and click on MY GROUPS and then CREATE OR JOIN GROUP. Picture below shows you want to click.
The group ID is 42331. Since it is a private group, you must use a password to join. The password is GODAWGS!
The password is case sensitive. It is in all caps and includes the exclamation mark.

  13. 1Dawg under God

I clicked rejoin but it still says I am not in a group and didn’t ask for a code. So i dont think it has let me in yet.

PTCDawg Chaney did take a crappy Tenn QB and got some good results so it is possible for him to get production out of Lambert. I am not a huge Lambert fan but I love the hell out of some W’s. So who ever can get me the most of them is who I want starting

  15. Bulldawg Bob2

PTCDawg  I am curious to see Lambert in Jim Chaney’s offense versus Brian Schottenheimer’s.

I also think the QB competition this season has been more tenacious than it was last year which may help all 3 to be honest.

  16. DawgDaddy

Bulldawg Bob2 Entered and picked first week, I hate to give it away but I picked UGA.  haha

I realize this wont sway any opinions but that hasn’t stopped me before…  :>)

First 6 games of last year Lambert recorded 14.26 yards per completion, which would have been 2nd in the SEC at year end, and 8.55 yards per pass attempt, which would have been 3rd.

Last 6 games of last year Lambert recorded 10.13 yards per completion which would have been 13th in the SEC, and 6.52 yards per attempt which would have been 10th.

It was in the 6th game of the year we lost our Heisman candidate. I think it is VERY likely that the offense we saw in those last 6 games was the direct result of a coaching staff that felt like that strategy gave the team the best chance to win, even if it wasnt pretty. And, in fact, in those last 6 games we went 6-0.

And yes, I realize the first 6 games included La Monroe and Southern, but it also included Alabama, Vandy and Tenn. The last 6 games had easier and tougher defenses as well.

I am NOT lobbying for Lambert to start all year, or even against UNC, I will be happy with any of the 3 candidates, I am just hoping that if Lambert is the guy that people will give him a realistic chance. I see no reason to think that Chaney wont be able to get the first 6 games version of Lambert back, and even better.

IMO, like many others, our offensive success next year is less dependent on who the QB is and more dependent on the performance of the OL. I think Pittman is the key to our O.

  18. RobDawg

@freddawg. Have no problem with it if the reason is strategic by Smart and Co. Seems to have worked for a state to our west over the years. I can affect the roster or depth chart anyway so I’m ok with the team working and putting the product out on the field. That’s when I will get my info anyway

  19. Bulldawg Bob2

RobDawg  Good luck. I hope I do better than last year, but hey. I did beat Greg Poole
