They gave him money for his assistants, further back they gave him less admin duties to work more on football, and he even said that he would have time now to get us on the cutting edge and develop new and better techniques, which I didn’t see. I believe he wins at Tenn. when we up by a bunch and wins in Jacksonville when Florida was down and he keeps his job and gets his IPF. He got comfortable and thought his 8 to 10 wins a year was going to keep him here until retirement. He could have done the things it would take to be an Elite program like Bama, but for some reason didn’t. Oh well onward and upward.

I remember watching the game where Tennessee completely neutralized him and the SC pass rush and went up and down the field when Chaney and Pittman were at Tennessee which was Clowney’s last year in college I believe. Certainly didn’t look like a #1 overall draft pick in that game.
