Starting to think Kirby is following some of Dooleys traits – No matter how good Our team may seem “Oh Poor me we are in TROUBLE – how are we ever going to compete with LA Monroe….

and as far as the other team —- Did you see the size of their line, Man they are gonna walk all over us…….  and Barbara doing her “Pacing and Praying”.

Now if we could only bring back THE Voice of THE Dawgs.

    Ahhh – Nostalgia.

Sooooo, is Kirby stringing us along – at least to some extent with his “Poor Mouthing”?

Is he trying to Build Up the Dawgs that have been here for several years?

I know he HAS to change some if not Most of the ATTITUDES….  These Boys have to Believe in each other in order to believe they CAN WIN.

As far as those that “Believe in ME”  –  See ya!  Cause you wont be around long.

WELCOME CHANGE – Time to kick some heels!

Who did we lose again on the DL? Bailey? I really can’t remember ha. We didn’t have a proven QB last year either but we pulled off 9 wins. I think Chubb will be back. Idk there are many different critics out there, i just don’t agree 7-5. 8-4 at worst IMO

  3. RumRunnerDoogie

godawgs678 didnt know they were playing down under, seems kind of pointless as they dont care for football down there really

  4. RumRunnerDoogie

Greg Poole looks amazing but some how i doubt thats what it looks like when u get one at the stadium

  5. dsw61

JaxDawg Georgia is getting dinged in these rankings mostly because of the perception that they don’t have a proven QB, and the unknown about Chubb. There’s also legit concern about experience and depth on the DL.

I got a HD projector I’m ready to try out. It seems to work good inside . Still need to make a test run outside.

  7. rugbydawg79

Greg Poole haws1178 Joe Gibbs did a good job running the ball using an H back with the Redskins

  8. Bulldawg36

Dang that is cool! Wish Erk would have retired at UGA. Should have been our coach after Dooley.

7-5?? What are people smoking? I’m guessing they are putting this on the coaching change? Net net I think we have more talent this year and regardless of the QB competition, we are in better position there too. If lambert starts, great, he did last year too. If Eason starts, great, that means we probably have a guy who can play better than lambert last year. We have more talent everywhere except for OLB, OL and maybe ILB. I think we will be okay

Bulldawg36  Going to have to do whatever it takes to convert 3rd downs. Can’t be going 3 and out or 6 and out and expect to win that game. The defense will eventually get gassed like it did in last year’s Tenn game. I still think on paper this is a good match up for Georgia.

Their QB will be making his first start…vs…Georgia’s experienced safeties, another veteran DB in Maurice Smith, and elite pass rushers. Apparently the blitz packages in the scrimmage were pretty impressive.

They lost their two starting senior LBs…vs…Georgia’s TEs, slot receivers Godwin and IMac, and Georgia’s run game. Reports are that Holyfield looks really good and rarely goes down on first contact. Somebody should be open on every pass play. The question is does Georgia have a QB who can find the open receiver and deliver the ball on target.

They lost their stud O-Lineman to graduation and the guy expected to replace him is out for the year with an injury…vs…Georgia’s elite pass rushers and blitz packages. UNC may be forced to throw shorter passes, which isn’t what they like to do. Last year they lived and died by taking shots down field and taking advantage of busted coverage when their QB would scramble.

I worry about Lambert on 3rd down though. The 3rd down conversion rate last year was terrible. Can’t repeat that against a team like UNC. Chaney has improved the 3rd down conversion rate everywhere he’s coached, so it should be better this year; even with Lambert. One reason I like Ramsey is because of his athleticism. He will be given the green light to run this year if he wins the job. That ability can make a difference on 3rd down. I do think Chizik is going to blitz regardless of who the QB is and not sure which of the three QBs handles the blitz the best. UNC’s non blitzing pass rush was not spectacular last year. They don’t have elite edge rushers.

Bulldawg36 One of the nicest guys you could meet – he helped out a poor measly Rugby player get in to work out on the nautilus machines – which meant you had to get past Squab Jones

    Ranking the SEC
    6. Georgia: Mark Richt and his 9.7 wins per season are gone. Welcome to the Kirby Smart era, which begins with a handful of questions on both sides of the ball. If running back http://www.espn.com/college-football/player/_/id/3128720/nick-chubb gets back to his old self after last year’s knee injury, the Dawgs should contend for the East. The defense returns a solid secondary, but the defensive line is a major concern — and top linebackers http://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/2977647/jordan-jenkins and http://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/3043136/leonard-floyd are gone. Don’t forget that a quarterback battle is raging, with future star http://www.espn.com/college-football/player/_/id/4035003/jacob-eason in the mix. –Aschoff

Greg Poole Whoops. posted it below with the shoe topic. I’m willing to bet they reflect light vs glow in the dark.

Reddawg13 Jesse1 Greg Poole Complacent. One of the most dangerous phrases in the English language : “Good job.”

  15. Bulldawg36

Yep. We sure did. We sure do know how to put a whooping on Auburn. Only the unc offense and punt returner scare me really.

  16. Jesse1

Bulldawg36 The last time we faced a Chizik defense Dawgs dropped 45 on him. And that was with playing the cheerleaders and the trainers the entire 4th quarter. We’re tougher than those

  17. Jesse1

Bulldawg36 No matter, that twinge of doubt has yet to seep into my thought process about the Heels or anyone else on the schedule. I sincerely believe this team could lose some games, or not lose any. With some fortune on the injury side of the equation, there are no limits for this team. if you want to win, but don’t believe you can, it’s a given you won’t.

  18. Bulldawg36

True. But they might some what better at stopping the run under Chiziks 2nd. I hope not tho. They won’t be able to stop Chubb. But will we be able to stop them enough?
