Jesse1 Bulldawg Bob2  Aye. If I remember right he took a few snaps at RB at Georgia as a frosh in 1999.

  2. DawgByte

Mauger out with a foot injury. Smart did not mention that his starting Safety was wearing a protective boot on his foot during the post scrimmage presser. Apparently Kirby won’t be available to answer questions about the injury until tomorrow afternoon. Looks like Maurice Smith arrived just in time!!

  3. Bulldawg Bob2

Bulltoad Sullivan was a heck of a player, but nope. He wore 57. Jesse1 got it with Charles Grant.

  4. Jesse1

Bulldawg Bob2 Jesse1 He wore # 19 in high school as a running back. Lincoln County beat the sushi out of him in the semi finals.

  5. Bulldawg Bob2

Time to rack your brains. This Bulldawg wore No.19 and played on the defensive line in 1999, 2000, and 2001 for Georgia and was a first round pick in the 2002 NFL Draft for the Saints. Can you name him?

  6. Jesse1

BahitsAgain Greg Poole The longer this years edition of Attack Dawgs can fly under the radar the more time for them to jell. We’ll know a whole lot about this team and the players character on the morning of October 2. Regardless of the record.

  7. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole BahitsAgain I actually didn’t mean the mod as a bash or even making fun.  I thought it was cool.  But, I can see your point.  I will drop it.

  8. Jesse1

Greg Poole If the rosters are capped at say 50, I like Georgia’s chances any year. With 70 or so, Florida’s depth will take over more years than not. From 84 until the last game, rosters were 40. In 2000 or whenever, teams were comprised of 75 players. They wore us out. 41-10. Team Florida blew the doors off in the 4th, tallying 27 points to Team Georgia’s goose egg.

  9. BahitsAgain

Bulldawg Bob2 Bansai buckeroo lol, ok.  Either you mods are having fun with my Dilbert mod, or lyvefire has code to knock out Dilbert pictures.

    I surrender.

  10. Greg Poole

BahitsAgain I see no difference between making fun of Georgia players and bashing them. In fact, there is no difference.

  11. Jesse1

freddawg Jesse1 Are injuries more or less likely to happen when players are focused for 60 minutes? As for building depth? At a place like UGA, it is, or should be next man up.

  12. BahitsAgain

Bulldawg Bob2 I don’t know.  Grayson Lambert vs. Brendan Douglas in a cage match.  I putting my money on the tough nosed RB.

  13. Greg Poole

The Florida-Georgia High School All-Star Football Game is returning this year. The event will be played Dec. 30 at Spec Martin Stadium in Deland, Fla.
This football game will be a feature some of the best senior players from Florida and Georgia. The rivalry is being renewed after more than a decade of not being played. Each state is recruited by most major universities and will feature many elite student-athletes that are committed to these programs.
Team Florida will be led by Joey Wiles of St. Augustine High School. Team Georgia will be led by Howie DeCristofaro of Milton High School. These coaches have developed great programs that have produced many major college level players as well as NFL players.

  14. freddawg

Jesse1  Not sure about that part.  The tougher the opponent, the more likely starters have to play late in the game.  That means more wear and tear on their bodies and less chance to get backups game experience.

  15. Jesse1

Bulldawg Bob2 Jesse1 Bulldawg36 Spot on. And the chances of losing a key player ( or 2 or 3) is just as likely in a no count game as vs a brannigan vs a team with some meat on their claw. A team is only as good as the people a team plays. Even before Saban, Bama was playing at least one big name team a year. UCLA, USC, Oklahoma, Penn State (10 year home and away from 82-91). Plus Notre Dame 4 regular season matchups since 1980.

  16. Bulldawg Bob2

Frankly  Aye. Just 2 Saturdays to go Frankly. High school football starts this week too. Love this time of year. Cannot wait for the leaves to start changing.

  17. Frankly

    19 days?!?!
With everything that happened with UGA football this off-season it feels like it’s been 2 years since there was a football game. It’s actually hard for me to believe its this close.

  18. Bulldawg Bob2

Jesse1 Bulldawg Bob2 Bulldawg36  And I agree. I prefer Georgia schedule more “quality” opponents, especially for home games and openers. Unfortunately, with the CFB playoff system in play and talk of adding a 9th conference game to the schedule, we may see more mid-major FBS teams and FCS OOC teams on the schedule than we used to see.

  19. Bulldawg Bob2

Jesse1 Bulldawg Bob2 Bulldawg36  OK. Now, that makes sense. I’m a wee bit slow this morning. Coffee maker decided to give up the ghost.

Don’t look at next year’s home schedule then, lol.  Open up with http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa-17/2017-appalachian-state-mountaineers-football-schedule.php and come back from Notre Dame to host the Samford Bulldogs.

  20. Jesse1

Bulldawg Bob2 Jesse1 Bulldawg36 I’d rather lose to Oklahoma, Oregon, West Virginia, Va Tech, etc than whallop Troy or Southern. To say nothing of Middle Tenn. back in 2003. All we lost was Fred Gibson and 2 o-line starters in a meaningless game. Gibson went down in the 4th, returning a k/o with a 29-7 lead with under 3:00 on the clock.

  21. Bulldawg Bob2

Jesse1 Bulldawg Bob2 PTCDawg dsw61 JaxDawg  LOL. Well, dang it. Could’ve sworn he said 3 when I first read it earlier.

Guess I better call the eye doc and move up my appointment.

And thanks. She isn’t having the best day today, but those are getting fewer.

  22. Jesse1

Bulldawg Bob2 Jesse1 Bulldawg36 The non conference schedule, when compared to the Gumps, UTK, LSU, and others, has not been a very heavy load. That’s the point. 2 some years 3 seal clubbings pr year.

  23. Bulldawg Bob2

Jesse1 Bulldawg36  Most every major college football team plays at least 1 FCS opponent each season and some play two.

Not exactly sure what point you are trying to make Jesse.

  24. Jesse1

Bulldawg Bob2 Jesse1 PTCDawg dsw61 JaxDawg He said more than 1. Remember with regard to reading glasses, a pair and a spare brother. Hope your wife is going well. Still on the prayer list.

  25. Jesse1

Bulldawg36 All you have to do is open the media guide. And who can forget Troy, Richmond, William & Mary, and on and on. UTK, B

  26. Bulldawg Bob2

Jesse1 PTCDawg dsw61 JaxDawg  Aye Jesse, but PTC’s question was when did Georgia play 3 FCS teams in one season?

  27. Jesse1

PTCDawg Jesse1 dsw61 JaxDawg 2002, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2011,2012, 2013, 2014,2015. A newly minted so called Div-1 La-Monroe, La Lafayette, Southern U,Buffalo, UAB, Charleston Southern Georgia Southern excluding last year, are not Power-5 conference teams. Bush league.

  28. BahitsAgain

Bansai buckeroo lol, if it was just gone, then maybe EC or one of the other mods pulled it.  I didn’t think it was that bad.  It seemed like a good play on words.
