dentaldawg Greg Poole I was watching a 1980 game the other night and they were listing the size of our guys.  240 OL seemed about the average. lol

  2. Greg Poole

    Offensive line rankings:
    1. Alabama: With star left tackle http://ift.tt/29NikXf unlikely to face a suspension, the Crimson Tide line has the cornerstone it needs to accent young up-and-comers http://ift.tt/2bp928O and http://ift.tt/2bANEtq.
    2. LSU: Regarded as the nation’s top center, http://ift.tt/2axicAp is one of three returning linemen for the Tigers.
    3. Georgia: All-SEC picks http://ift.tt/2b2NVV5 and http://ift.tt/2aoCFH6 are a nice couple of pieces to build around, but that’s less than half the equation.

The walk-on program is growing bigger. Number 79 is Allan Williams a 6-7/35 to offensive lineman from Appling County High School in Baxley.

  4. DawgByte

bahits AlphaDawg Greg Poole I agree, after all we’re talking about a Banana Republic government down there. I’m sniffing hyper sensitive Brazilian authorities on this one.

  5. Greg Poole

DawgByte It is difficult to say where he stands, but, you’re right, he does seem to be grabbing the attention of the coaches. I hope he can add depth this year. If he and Holyfield can come in and move the chain with it will grind down most teams.

  6. DawgByte

Reddawg13 1mandawgpack Greg Poole Bulldawg36 Precisely! Channel that emotion into performance.

@DDaddy….. If you have fox sports on your tv, you will need to set up a login and pwd with your tv provider if you don’t have one. Fox sports go will ask you who your provider is .chose it and use the login and pwd for that provider…hope that makes sense.

  8. DawgByte

Greg Poole I was impressed with his HS highlight reel and thought he was underrated. It will be interesting to track his progress. He seems to be moving up the chart.

  9. Greg Poole

@Bulldawg Bob2 ‘s best edit ever. (I may have omitted a small part of it completely by accident)

DawgDaddy Bansai buckeroo You can watch it on the Fox Sports Go app on your phone if you download the app.  You sign in with the cable operator just like WatchESPN app

Bansai buckeroo Me too, she has improved steadily  over the years and I always look forward to reading her thoughts.

  13. DawgDaddy

Bansai buckeroo Can it be seen online?  I am in PCB and won’t be back home until tomorrow.

The thing that NOBODY mentions when discussing Georgia’s WRs last is the new coach:

Frankly, I thought the decline in downfield blocking from the receiving corps was an under-acknowledged deficiency last season that contributed to the offensive constipation we saw frequently.  Losing Bennett and Conley hurt a lot in that department.  Fix that to any extent, and you likely have a big impact on Georgia’s third-down efficiency.  As a bonus, you also free up the tight ends to have more involvement in the receiving game.

If you hear hoofbeats in the distance, think horses not zebras.

  15. Reddawg13

Greg Poole Reddawg13 He may, but I still see Eason starting. But that is just me, you and MM!

  16. Greg Poole

Reddawg13  Yep.  That’s Eason is behind him but, you never know, Holyfield could see the field before the Big E.

  17. Reddawg13

bahits Bulldawg36 Well, when I was playing softball I fractured my ankle and tore all the ligaments in it in the first inning and finished the game. The Doc that put the cast on it asked me if I was drunk, lol. So if I can do it, Atkins, Mauger and Woerner can too.

Reddawg13 1mandawgpack Greg Poole Bulldawg36 Like Herschel handing the ball to the ref in the endzone !

  19. Greg Poole

Reddawg13 He has been a leader in drills prior to his injury – going first and showing how it should be done. John John is stepping up.
